@@lovefps989Coconut oil doesn’t have any whitening effect, so no. Most teeth whitening products have hydrogen peroxide which is the active ingredient that’s used to bleach your teeth. Even charcoal powder doesn’t really whiten your teeth and gets in between your gum lines. It’s just super abrasive and can wear down your protective enamel.

Oil pulling sounds crazy IK. But no matter how much you brush and use mouthwash your morning breath WILL still be horrible! It happened to me and I hated it. Ive tried many methods and the smell of my morning breath was unbearable. And I use a waterpik, even put mouthwash in my waterpik to make sure I gets everything out before brushing then I floss EVERYDAY, and doing it twice a day and nothing helps. I did tons of research and stumbled upon oil pulling method and guess what! within a week my morning breath smell “good” literally smell like nothing even if I have not brush my teeth, my husband even told me my morning breath smell “good” lol because it’s smell like nothing. Im not saying oil pulling prevent me from getting cavities or prevent periodontal disease because I have a good oral hygiene, but it does help with the smell if anyone want to give it a try, it doesn’t hurt to try! And BTW I am a dental student and my husband is a dentist and we dont believe in this kind of thing, it’s weird to says these hacks work because there is no science proofs that they do but im just saying based on my experience!

Honestly I been doing oil pulling for 5 months every day and all I’m going to say I will keep doing it for the rest of my life, even my dentist was shocked at how good my teeth were all of a sudden and thought it was because now I brushed my teeth or flossed better, but I didn't. One thing is that I'm also eating less sugar, taking vitamin K2, chewing xylitol gum, brushing and scraping my tongue, but these are things I started doing later. But since I've been doing oil pulling, my jaw and teeth feel stronger, more saliva production which is important cause saliva protects your teeth from tooth decay and remineralizes your teeth, teeth whiter, etc. and i have to say i had shitty teeth my whole life and now my teeth look perfect. Obviously oil pulling never replaces: brushing, flossing or going the dentist but it's something that I implemented for my oral hygiene and I have noticed benefits

I used to get strep throat constantly one year, and if you know, its extremely painful. I tried multiple antibiotics, oral rinses, of course constantly brushing/flossing on a regular basis, nothing helped, except coconut oil pulls. I dove i to the science and it makes a lot of logical sense. Do a pull for about 60 seconds or so and spit in the trash a few times a day, and I never had strep throat come back again. Literally the only thing that worked after almost a year of teying everything else the doctors recommended.

@@qwerty22421 I’m not sure where my response went?? They are permanent crowns. They were about a year old when I started oil pulling. The issues started after about 4-5 months of pulling. Apparently, it can loosen fillings or crowns by dissolving certain dental cements. I also know if you have any mercury amalgam in your mouth, it could be an issue, mercury in amalgam fillings is Lipophillic, which means it is attracted to oils and fats. Oil pulling will pull mercury out of the fillings which will then be absorbed into your tissues, as it inadvertently poisons your body with mercury at a faster rate.

Here’s the thing people, if we healed ourselves than the healthcare industry wouldn’t make money. So I’m not surprised that this professional is telling us that oil pulling doesn’t work. Let me just say from personal experience that myself and my daughter have completely reversed decay and cavities in her mouth by oil pulling. My own oral surgeon was shocked to see the results. I even managed to regrow jaw bone around one of my failing implants. Professionals will tell you that this isn’t possible but I’m telling you it is because it happened to me.
