Your uniform is great but I would keep the current logo and adjust it to your color schemes. That way the old uniform meshes with the current ones. This way, ownership can sell it to the fans as a uniform that recognizes tradition while moving forward.

They recently showed off their reverse style or type Uniform/Helmet. A white helmet, the D logo like the classic 70's and 80's look. That was a really wild look.
