I’ll never forget being off track from school on 1/20 day (2005) and walking outside to see abt 30 young Raymond’s on the intersection (Vermont & Imperial) walking up Vermont to Hellen Keller Park all the way from Washington High. They were in all royal blue, niggas and bitches, deep as fuck. The Brat era was elite frfr, anybody who was there to see will tell you. I can name abt 10 Raymond’s I know from that era who got hit with a life sentence within those next few years, it’s crazy how much of an impact it made on their popularity & notoriety in the streets going forward.
