Not to mention he had an injury too. You can't tell me that it didn't look hopeless for the Nuggets after game 2, because it did. They collapsed mentally in game 2, the way game was officiating was a big part of that, and they felt too much pressure on the home court after losing game 1. Resting their injuries for 4 days, and playing on the road really helped them find their game again.

Of course they looked comfortable. The refs completely F'ed the Wolves by switching up how they ref mid-series, resulting in an insane number of fouls on the Wolves in the first half. They were too afraid to play any D the rest of the game for fear of fouling out, resulting in tons of open uncontested shots for the Nuggets. This was clearly on purpose to extend the series. You don't accidentally change the ref style that drastically mid-series without any warning.

i was thinking...they had like 3-4 days to readjust their game. that helped a lot, at first they were shocked by how timberwolves are playing, and the matchups were kinda awkward. playing in transition and faster pace with extra passes instead of a pick and roll is gonna win against the double center line up. the defense were scrambling and breaking their ankles trying to catch up, it was simply amazing.
