THG is almost too nice to be on here ... his game reviews are tough to sit through ... nobody cares about a shot that missed the net or a routine save ... no video, no visuals on the screen ... just a physical whiteboard which only he can read and refer to ... he's definitely a stats nerd ... he has no ad reads which is a bonus, but he's losing money that way, by resting on his moral compass ... like I said before, he's a nice guy through and through.

Last week of the regular season, a 4 way race for the wild card and the 3rd in the pacific up for grabs. Two guys gonna get 100 assists, one guy gonna score 70. A Presidents trophy winner crowned.... Over an hour of college talk....wtf boys I like a bit of college hockey talk, keeps me in the loop and gives us some names to look for. But its been way way way too much lately.

The top teams from Alberta are joining the BCHL because they aren’t tied to hockey Canada and hockey Canada has too many restrictions on players. Brooks is joining. I think the BCHL is a pretty great place especially for the players best interest going forward. 38:31

Correction on the Flyers and Caps tiebreaker: If Flyers win tonight and Detroit and Pittsburgh lose their final games, the tiebreak between Flyers and Caps would be goal differential, not be the head-to-head season matchup. This is because the NHL decided the head-to-head matchup between two teams would not include the first game played at home in the scenario that the two tied teams play an odd number of games against each other. In other words, Flyers and Caps play a total of three games against each other this season. They have split the first two games, with Flyers winning the first at home. The third and final matchup is Tuesday night in Philly, so that is the only Philly home game that counts towards the head-to-head matchup, with a Flyers win resulting in the season series being tied 1-1 for tiebreaking purposes. So the tiebreaker then falls to the goal differential, which Philly leads by double digits, so they win the tiebreak regardless with a regulation win tonight. If Philly wins in regulation tonight vs the Caps, and Detroit and Pittsburgh lose their final games in regulation, then Flyers make the playoffs based on goal differential. Had my mind in a blender figuring it out last night but I am pretty sure this is correct 😅

my personal opinion, I would vote McDavid for the Hart based on what he did for the Oilers this year. surprisingly he has double the hits Mack has, stepped up massively defensively, and helped pull the Oilers from 31st in the league to being a legit playoff team. this year has been crazy as hell so here’s to hoping the playoffs will continue the excitement !

Colorado’s defense has been horrible this year. So many turnovers and giving up way too many high danger scoring chances. Plus their lack of physical defensemen shows when they get bullied in front of the net by bigger forwards. Goaltending is certainly a problem but their defensive play has been quite disappointing this year. Can’t blame it all on Georgiev.

I think I am on the 1-8 bandwagon now. Preds playing Vancougar and have to potentially play back to back with 5 hour flights in between is the NHL equivalent to soggy subs on the bus it is not very national league. If it was 1-8 preds would play the jets don't love that match up but it sure beats back to back If it was 1-13 it would be preds vs Carolina give me that match up in round one I will take it.
