Thank you for sharing this video, here are my speech notes: • dreams without goals are just dreams • life goals yearly goals daily goals • discipline and consistency • plan everyday work everyday • hard work works • Just because you are going a lot more doesn’t mean you are getting a lot more done. • don’t confuse movement with progress • it’s about what you do with what you have, not about what you have • say thank you every morning in advance, for what is already yours • each one, teach one • aspire to make a difference • nothing in life is worth it if you don’t take risk • you will lose, you will embarrass yourself, you'll suck. • to get something you never had, you have to do something you never did • the world needs a lot and we need it from you • what are you going to do with what you have? • small minds discuss other people, good minds discuss ideas • care for one another, love one another • what an opportunity we have Thank you For Reading My Notes! Because of this video I have made my own yearly-, monthly- and weekly-goals, which I share on my own channel, for people who need a reference.

Thank you Denzel. My daughter was in a terrible accident, revived a tbi, her brain shifted, she broke her back in five places, tore her vagina and anus open when she was ejected, and multiple other injuries. She was not expected to make it. She was in a coma and life support. Needless to say, her recovery was unbearable for me, and the hardest fight she ever fought for her. We had to re teach her everything. I never let her give up. I never let her fall back. She fell seven times and got up eight. Four years later, she is soaring again. With God, with perseverance, and taking risks many people couldn't survive. There is so much more to what I call Sierra's journey, but what you said, is exactly what I did to get my child back. Thank you for taking time out for everyday people. I just wanted you to know how you affect people

@@gonzalovenegasgomez349 You should do your research, Malcolm X and Nation of Islam was a role he played. You do know that movies are actor's right? The devout Christian actor also touched on the unhealthy relationship people have with social media platforms, questioning people who choose to focus too much on themselves in an attempt to garner attention from their online followers. “The enemy is the inner me,” Washington explained, further elaborating, “The Bible says in the last days - I don’t know if it’s the last days, it’s not my place to know - but it says we’ll be lovers of ourselves.” The renowned actor continued, “The No. 1 photograph today is a selfie, ‘Oh, me at the protest.’ ‘Me with the fire.’ ‘Follow me.’ ‘Listen to me,’” asserting that “We’re living in a time where people are willing to do anything to get followed.” Denzel Washington then posits the question, “What is the long or short-term effect of too much information? It’s going fast and it can be manipulated obviously in a myriad of ways. And people are led like sheep to slaughter.” According to the Training Day actor, in heaven “there are going to be two lines, the long line and the short line, and I’m interested in being in the short line.” “You have to fill up that bucket every morning,” Washington declared. “It’s rough out there. You leave the house in the morning. Here they come, chipping away. By the end of the day, you’ve got to refill that bucket. We know right from wrong.” As the interview nears to an end, The New York Times’ Maureen Dowd asks the actor whether he “saw your share of glossolalia” growing up in the Pentecostal Church of God in Christ. “Don’t play with God. Don’t play with God. You hear what I said? Don’t play with God. You heard what I said? Don’t play with God,” Denzel Washington replied to Dowd’s tone-deaf, uneducated question. The Man on Fire actor continued, “This is spiritual warfare. So, I’m not looking at it from an earthly perspective. If you don’t have a spiritual anchor you’ll be easily blown by the wind and you’ll be led to depression.” Remembering his late father, who was an ordained Pentecostal minister, Washington recalled, “That’s what got my father, he couldn’t give up the meat and fried foods,” and asked Dowd whether she had read the Bible, encouraging the reporter to “Start with the New Testament, because the Old Testament is harder. You get caught up in the who-begot-who-begot-who thing.”

Denzel Washington has such a presence as a man, a human, a celebrity. It is unreal the amount of respect that he receives. What is it about him that is so unique that he is so revered? It really is his persona, the timbre of his voice, how he carries himself. So much of what we talk about when referring to him is his utter charisma AND his depth as a person. I can list virtually any actor in Hollywood, but have a hard time thinking of anyone who has earned such respect, perhaps Tom Hanks. What irony that they were together in the movie Philadelphia. Mr. Washington, of course, is not perfect as a human, but, what comes across so clearly in his public appearances is his desire to operate in an ethical manner in how he does his work as an actor.
