It's like a very angry part of him was left in the ring of that third Fury fight. You can hear it right after the fight as well. ''I did everything I could. I don't know what went wrong.'' He sounded confused. He knew he left it all in there and that it just wasn't enough. After the second fight, he made 300 excuses and could keep pretending to himself it wasn't his fault that he lost. But after the third (where he knew Fury had a shit camp and horrible circumstances like his daughter being stillborn, revived and then on the ICU just two weeks before the fight), he had no more excuses to give himself. It really seems to have humbled him. He stepped through that phase with grace, like Tyson. I really like this new Wilder.
