fun fact I believe it might be it might be in Pokemon black and white. there is a town with 4 meteors in towards the bottom right corner of it. You can change Deoxys's form depend on which you interact with. I chose attack form before transferring mine up.

In the movie, Deoxys has an ability that he has never used outside of it. Cloning. Deoxys can make purple duplicates of itself. While they are weaker than the original (able to be killed in 1 or 2 hits), they make up for it with sheer numbers, like that of a Locust swarm. Like a real, irl Virus, Deoxys will multiply tenfold if left unchecked.

Another interesting fact: Despite seeming to have a gender difference in the movie, based on the color of the Gem and facial crest, Deoxys has never had this feature in the games. (The movie had two Deoxys. One with a purple gem and crest, same as the games, and one with a mint-green gem and crest)

Deoxys is a handsome boy! I wish they let us transfer Deoxys to Violet/Scarlet. I have a Shiny Deoxys on Brilliant Diamond. Someone just gave it to me in a trade. I was trying to evolve my Seadra and they actually traded me a Shiny Deoxys. They took my Kingdra but that’s ok, have it. That duel with Rayquaza was epic

Deoxys wasn't the first to have a unique battle theme, the legendary beasts had their own unique theme in Gold, Silver, & Crystal.

If you think about it, this could be hinted that there are other planets in the Pokémon universe in the far galaxy that have their own Pokémon, Pokedex and maybe on one of those planets Deoxys could be considered a Legendary Pokémon

Personally, the difference between ‘legendary’ & ‘mythical’ has more to do with how well known the story of it is, IN UNIVERSE.

In Gen 3, Deoxys *could* actually change form, but you could only do it by trading Deoxys to a game where its form is different, and it would only be that form in that game, so if you traded it back from say, Emerald, it would revert back to speed form. Thank goodness for the meteorites in later games.

When Pokemon ORAS get a DLC(Delta Emerald), I thought Deoxys will have a Mega Evolution like Rayquaza...☹️

a couple fun facts in the manga, theres 2 deoxys hes not one of a kind. he had the mewtwo treatment and was in a lab by team rocket (both of them, one escaped) and speaking of mewtwo they fought in the manga which was pretty cool, and deoxys can talk through technology
