there's nothing quite like finding songs my dad would play for me when i was small. the night drives, the talks we had about life, the indoor panda express picnics (we just ate on the ground)- this song brought all of that right back. each song i remember and find again is like its own little bundle of memories. i love it.

Depech Mode, Duran Duran, New Order, Psycadelic Furs, Tears for Fears and Simple Minds were some of the best the 80's gave us and I'm so glad I was there to live it !!! I can't think of a better decade for music or even life it was so awesome the Clubs the Music the Girls lol everything was perfect, man I really miss those days.....

You forget about Rick Ashley, bananarama and all of the other bubblegum pop of the eighties + all the hairographed soft rock bands. Yes, there was lots of good alternative music but lots of shite as well and I could have done without all the big hair and shoulder pads.

Rip Mom.... I love you so much. This song brings so many memories of when we'd go to Austin to goof off. I remember Lakeline mall, Shaman modifications, everything... Even just chilling in the car and talking. I miss you every single day 💔 I remember how surprised you were when I didn't freak out over getting my tongue pierced 🤣 our random trips to Walmart and we'd always come home with at least one shirt. This song speaks to my soul the lyrics the hypnotic bassline the vocal melody. That haunting guitar riff. The "ahh" Synth Sampler choir stab. It just all comes together in a way that creates enchantment in my whole being. Amazing Depeche mode.

For me there's two types of music: The one which you listen to with friends And the one which you only listen when by yourself. The most amazing thing is when you find a person with which you can also share the 2nd type. This is just this type of music, so don't be bothered by that. Your friends probably listen to some odd type of music as well but they just don't share it with anybody.

Like a trance where you just think about life and your child hood and all the fucked up things in the world. And coming to acceptance for it. It's at a comfortable calm sense of everything
