Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on KZfaq, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on KZfaq. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on KZfaq, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.

When I first heard this song, I basically loved the sound. Then when I dived into the lyrics never knew how deep it was? Relevant during that time right up to now. Amazing.

Behind the Wheel, Suffer Well, World in my Eyes-- holy moly so many great tunes. Studio versions are always my fav with Depeche Mode- so many sounds to hear.

You're speaking on hate brings to mind a lyric from the ZAC BOWN BAND's song Junkyard ... "hatred is the curse of man."

This song’s deeper message is powerful and pairing it with a fire beat works great. Seeing people gleefully bopping around on TikTok to Bronski Beat’s “Smalltown Boy” gives me pause. Do they know what that song is about at all? I just hope that they take a good listen to the heartbreaking lyrics about homophobia. That song’s beat is infectious, like this one is, but man, you never want a deeper meaning to be lost. Thanks for seeing the depth of this one.

I feel the same about those kinds of topics. Particularly politics, or what that arena has become. That was the main reason I got off of social media- people being rude and nasty to each other over political positions. There’s already way too much hate in the world, and this classic track’s lyrics spell that out.

Martin Gore is part black but doesn’t look it, so I’m sure this song has an even greater meaning to him-And Depeche Mode has also taken a lot or homophobic abuse, although the boys aren’t gay (I think Dave is or was bi though).
