Have you heard of Kintsugi? It's the Japanese art of repairing a piece of pottery or such with gold.
In this video I'm going to make a belly band with some little houses decorated with faux Kintsugi gold joinery. It was so much fun to make.

That white flower is perfect! This is just gorgeous. I love the black and gold. It has the old Japanese vibe from around the 60s-70s. I had a sweet little jewelry box that was black and gold with flowers like these. And I really treasured it when I was young. It finally got broken in a move. Had I known about this back then, I definitely would’ve tried to piece it back together. Anyway, so glad you put the proverb on the card. It is beautiful. Another awesome stunner! Hugs 🤗❤️

The black and gold are so striking together. I love the piece with flower negative and yes the white flower made a great contrast. That piece is my favorite.

Great idea to hinge the houses onto the belly band. I totally understand the need to keep on using that gold pen. My favourite gold pen is a uniball Signo Broad and and when I start using it I find it hard to stop.

I'm very familiar with this Japanese method of preparing pottery. I used it as an example in a sermon I preached a few years ago. You did a lovely job I think it's a little houses are so sweet. Blessings and hugs
