Coins last 30yr min in circulation the coin shortage doesn't exist its simply government trying to force ppl to use strickly digital currency the mint could not stamp any coins at all and there would still be plenty in circulation dont believe everything your tv tells you

I am honestly sad of them not searching the quarters. I collect coins, and I know that before 1965, they made quarters out of 90% silver, which raised the value of the quarters and they might have had some, which means they might have thrown away a lot of money. Remember, check your coins for anything rare before spending or depositing.

The thing is they are most likely smarter than you LMAO. If you go to your bank there isn't any fees or percentage taken out of what you earned. Walmart is a different story. Yeah, if you want a gift card there is no percentage taken out but a lot of people want/ need the CASH instead. IDK who the hell would want a $300 gift card to IHOP but it certainly wouldn't be me.

Kayleigh Burgess Walmart might card you and ask for your drivers license if the amount of money you get back from the coinstar exceeds the tax threshold with the IRS which is when you the amount of money is more than 600 dollars like for an example if you were to get back 1000 dollars from your coins at Walmart you will have to pay income taxes on that money and submit a 1099 miscellaneous form aka a w9 form any money you get back from depositing coins into the coinstar at Walmart or any grocery store I recommend you put that as part of your income taxes as part of a schedule c from if you get cash back from your coins at a bank you can avoid having to pay income taxes on that money you get back for your coins and you will not have to pay any fees for every coin you get cash from at your local bank so go to a bank because you can avoid taxes and fees on the money you get back from your coins

The machine rejects foreign currency, which would include anything silver

you can hear silver quarters by ear/sound alone. Probablyy wouldn't take as long as expected. I've heard a silver quarter in someone's pocket before just from the changing jingling.
