Multiple consistent characters in the same scene without their features merging together is what I need.

Been with Midjourney for years, both on Discord and now Alpha. Have never cared anything about chatting/socializing and have not participated on either platform … whatsoever. Thanks, Nolan.♥

I’m only interested in Midjourney as a tool for creating things. I have zero interest in chatting or any social features. If Midjourney really wants to add some kind of social features, maybe they can hold competitions and give prizes to the winners. However, Midjourney should add privacy as the default for paying users, because it’s not fun having everything made public and having others steal your ideas.

I never use the chat on Midjourney because I don’t see the benefit of social stuff with random anons over text that I have nothing in common with while I’m working on a project

While MJ creates rooms and magazines, other companies are building text/image/video to video and 3D tools... now.

I want to use the website to manage the images. (sort, filter, organise, download, group, remove ... etc) Not really there to chat to random people.

Seems like they've taken the wrong signal from some extremely active and probably loud community people around rooms. But that's probably my bias, I don't ever really want people looking over my shoulder during a creative process of any sort. But In general, if you build a feature that no one uses, it's probably best to not double down and keep burning resources on it. Especially if it doesn't do anything to increase usage, revenue, or product enjoyment. Personally I'd love to see them kill the rooms. It's a distraction that's already cost them a lot of time, and I've never seen more than 10 people in a room at one time. Ever. :/ "Stop trying to make fetch (aka rooms) happen, MJ team!" Yeesh. No one but David cares about social features.

The website is not that good, you can't delete things, the organizing is still crap. I only use MJ as a tool to create things, (only on discord, where you can delete things..) I don't have time to chat about it. I do that on insta, or with people in real life. But keep it up to make these video's they're very useful!

Most people don't care about the chat rooms and the magazine. David has weird priorities. It also always sounds like there are like 5 people working on MJ!?

The social aspect would definitely be a secondary thing for me.

MidJourney Video will be INSANE! I just know it. What I'm doing with Runway is crazy, and it's just the start.

There is limited archived space in the web rooms and it is often filled up with inconsiderate users creating the same boring prompt over and over. Many times you can look through a room and there will only be 3 or 4 users and no interactions. This happens on Discord in some of the rooms when a users posts a prompt and then upscales all 4 images, then immediately runs the prompt again. This seems to be because there are numerous users generating stock images for resale.

Less interested in that feature? So the employees just get to do anything they want over there?

Uploading my own image and having midjourney regenerate it/in painting my own image is what I want. Its extremely hard to generate something very specific. For games its basically useless. I have to gen 200 images to get a passable image. At very least they need to make image refs actually work or at 'structural ref' so it actually attempted to keep the shape of the image. Now that we have style ref, the image ref needs drastic improvement.

Hey Bro, I want to discuss with you about the copyright issue of Ai Images. My theory is that Ai Images that we generate consist of many images from their data, and those can be copyrighted. So shouldn't it be illegal to not only sell them but also generate them because they use the copyrighted images of without the proper license and permission. Actually, I sell Ai Images on Adobe Stock. One day I read their terms and service with full detail, you know no one read it 😁, And then I started research about that and got confused very much.

I’m absolutely not interested in chat with others in general. I’m interested in chatting about a specific subject or issue or with the customer in a privat room where he can see the progress or we can chat about possibilities.

I’m in a private discord server with a group of people but we all just create in our own channels and chat in a separate channel that nobody generates in. I set up a room on the alpha but no one was interested, mainly because the alpha is still terrible of mobile/ipad
