In support of DP. I was brought up near Kinale forest and we used to do shamba system since I was young.1966. Even kiriita forest.siasa mbaya. Mnalete Waihiga.

This shamba systems was there and was there but was removed. That when Kenya started importing timber from foreigner countries, repercussions and consequences are losing money which would be circulating locally. Many trees which outside forests owned by individuals were cut down for timber

The Kenyatta regime made a catastrophic mistake by inviting Israelis to advice on Galana Kulalu drip irrigation. When they Israelis arrived, they changed from drip irrigation to the wasteful central pivot irrigation system, and suddenly the Tana river waters were not enough. It was the Jedi wave of the hand.
