my great-grandfather was an Italian ex-soldier and partisan. According to what he told my grandfather, when he and other partisans learned of the defeat of Hitler's death, a group of American soldiers who were stationed there began to sing this song, also inviting the Italian allies and civilians to sing it

Fun fact This is from a Disney movie of the same name. Watch it, it’s hilarious . The song then later became a popular allied wartime song

Fun Fact:When the 3rd Reich collapsed in 1945, this became the popular song played on German radio stations it was like a sigh of relief for most Germans when it played

Der Fuehrer's Face (originally titled A Nightmare in Nutziland or Donald Duck in Nutziland) is a 1943 American animated anti-Nazi propaganda short film produced by Walt Disney Productions, created in 1942 and released on January 1, 1943 by RKO Radio Pictures. The cartoon, which features Donald Duck in a nightmare setting working at a factory in Nazi Germany, was made in an effort to sell war bonds and is an example of American propaganda during World War II. The film was directed by Jack Kinney and written by Joe Grant and Dick Huemer.

Both of My great grandfathers fought in ww2 for American Air Force one of them passed 10 years ago. Another November 2023. For some reason I feel like they would’ve liked this song.

@americanchristiannationalist the Nazis literally tried to completely erase the Old Testament from the bible, they tried to force state control over the churches, the leadership of the party was filled with Pagans (example being Rudolf Hess or Himmler,) deliberately tried to separate the Churches from the people in order to stifle their influence (citing the 1945 O.S.S report "The Nazi Master Plan,") and pretty much committed every single Cardinal Sin on the book, such as the mass Rapes in the USSR and also mass genocide of the Slavic peoples in the same place, (Generalplan Ost,)

Fun Fact: When the Jovi was defeated and destroyed in the Angry German Kid vs Jovi Part 2 in 2009. This became the popular song played on German News Network it was like communly known as the "Angry German Kid," was fighting some evil entity, known as "Jovi." while they were fighting, Captain Falcon was called to the stage to end the fight. The Falcon Punch not only owned Jovi. But it also blew up part of the galaxy, which created a hole in the sky in which there is TV static.
