Schöne Bilder. Da kommt wieder "Sandweh" auf. Mit welchem Reifendruck seid Ihr im Sand gefahren?

Dankeschön! Im Sand waren wir mit 1,8bar unterwegs. Wenn’s sehr weich war mit 1,5bar.

@@Wuff_Mo Wir fahren auf unserem Syncro General Grabber AT3 in 205/70/15. Sind also nur unwesentliche größer. Ich wollte bewußt keine Reifen, die die Kraftübertragung durch größeren Umfang verschlechtern.

@@CanadierCom ah, ja. Die stehen bei uns auch hoch im Kurs, bzgl. dem nächsten Satz Reifen. Einstweilen sind wir aber mit den Insa Turbo Cazador aber auch sehr zufrieden.

@@Wuff_Mo nice can you maybe send me a link of your kit and must I do other mods on my Syncro to accommodate the kit or is it just a straight fit ?

​@@user-bd6xo9ld2d Our lift kit is custom made since most parts are relatively easy to manufacture. But you can get a complete kit from Seikel. www.seikel.de/shop/t4-syncro-lift-kit/?lang=eh Or you can get all parts individually from G-Parts except the reinforced rear springs (which you can get from your local aftermarket shop). www.g-part.de/VW-T4-offroad-equipment There are a few things to consider. Check out the Seikel installation Guide: www.seikel.de/wp-content/uploads/formidable/29/EN_1011-0002-T4-Suspension-lift-kit-Rev10_231024.pdf Or the more detailed (but in German language) community page: www.vwbuswiki.de/index.php/Syncro_T4_höher_legen Be aware that depending where you are located there might be national regulations on car modifications. Getting the complete kit and support by Seikel might help a lot to meet these regulations.

@@Wuff_Mo wow ok what material did you use if I may ask and what did you do to front driveshafts so it doesn't touch the subframe when bottoming out?

Sure. Spacers for rear diff and rear springs are out of aluminum. High carbon steel for rear shock absorber extension. No extensions on front shock absorbers. And with installing new OEM engine mounts the driveshafts didn’t touch the subframe. Otherwise you could dent the subframe in a bit or trim a section out to make space for the driveshaft.
