SWEET !!!! So excited people!!! So my alarm just went off and I grab my phone and log into Jacobs channel just as quick as humanely possible !!! And, There it is!!!! Ooh hell yah people!!! Ive been waiting literally years for this song and this debut album. There is no possible way that anyone on the face of this earth can be as excited as I am at this particular moment!!! So, I log into Jacobs U Tube channel and sync up my phone with my stereo and turn the.volume way, way up!!!! First, let me say that I will deffinetly have a lot more to say about this first song from The Jacob Deraps Bands debut album, but I wanted to record my first inital reaction to it the first time i listen to it. First, yes, I deffinetly love this first track which is really the 2nd track if you take into account the newly released and completly remixed masterpiece, "Sex Drugs and Rock N Roll". Jacob released this fresh first track to us first, as a small sample size of what we could expect to hear when we put his debut album on for the first time. I actually was very impressed with the quality of that first songs sound, tone and mix that he originally released to us. I never even considered that, that song needed to be changed, altered or improved in any way before it was included as part of this debut album. But, after carefully listening to this new improved, upgraded version after they went back into the studio and decided to completely deconstruct that song, and remix it entirerly from start to finish. And, yes!!! This new remixed version is deffinetly much better than the original recording that I had already given an A+ too. Just another example of how incredibly good all 3 guy's are when it comes to there ears, and what they hear and play versus everyone else. Let's be crystal clear here when we talk about all 3 members musical abilities and talents. First, yes, Jacob Deraps is already one of the greatest guitarists in the world, hands down., and yes, he is just barely starting his musical journey., and hasn't even come close to scratching the surface of how good he is eventually going to become. This is not even debatable people, so if you dont agree then keep it to yourself and dont provide us an example of how incredibly stupid you are. The other 2 members of this incredible trio are Josh on drums and vocals, and William on bass and vocals. What makes this trio so outstanding is all three guy's are already fantastic proffessional musicans of the highest order, and all three are just now exiting there teenage years. William and Jacob have been good friends for many years before they started this band. Although William began as a guitarist himself he was smart enough to switch to bass quickly enough to become good enough to play with Jacob. Im pretty damn sure William recognized early on that Jacob got so good so quickly that if he didnt commit to that change he would not have ever been a part of this band. William is a outstanding bass player with impeccable timing and feel and is a perfect match for Jacob because of there close relationship, and there musical journey that they started together from the beginning. That journey, and that bond that they have created together is the backbone of this band and why there live play is just so ridiculously TIGHT !!! Josh is an absolute master of the drums already and he has barely even started. Jacob and Josh stumbled on to each other over the internet while they both were posting there first cover videos. Im sure I dont really have to explain why they are friends, why they play and record covers together while at the same time find themselves a continent away from each other!!! Im sure that at the very start of there relationship they really didnt have or couldnt really find anyone there age that was good enough for them to jam with. Jacob and Josh, along with William are the most perfect trio and complement each other perfectly!!! They are just so incredibly tight together and have this special something together that is really hard to explain or summerize for you. Thats totally fine!!! We really dont have to try and explain this to you because we know that you know that they have this together. We also know that they know they have this together. I pray to God!!! That they never forget this!!! I pray to God that they keep this line up in tact and together for there entire lives!!!! Im literally terrified when I think about anyone else in the entire world replacing any one of them. This will absoloutly crush me!!! In fact!! That would hurt me even more than when David Lee Roth stepped away from Van Halen!!! Im 100% totally serious when I say that!!! So, I love this song!!! Im going to listen to it many times, over, and over and over again before I comment again about it ok. But, I love this song already. I love the way Jacobs guitar sounds!!! I love how Jacob attacks every note every slight stacoto and subtle mute. Only Eddie himself can do this as well or better than Jacob. Man, I love how Williams bass sounds and what he has chosen to play to this song. And Josh!! OMG !!! Seriously!!! I really can't think of anyone in the world to compare to what his drums sound like and remind me of. Off the top of my head all I can come up with is a mixture of like Bohnom, Peart and Alex Van Halen. That's obviously pretty damn good company and really the only thing that comes to mind if I was goona try and explain how Josh's drums sound to someone. Alright people!! Ill stop now ok!!! Let me listen to and digest this song over and over and over again. Then, im sure I will have plenty more to say about it. JACOB DERAPS BAND NUMBER 1 FAN FROM DAY 1 !!!!!
