KLF was outstanding. This wasn't live, but wanted to make you think it's live. The audience was from a "The Who" concert. ;) They called it "Stadium House" and released a VHS of this name (Stadium House Trilogy), which consisted of "What Time Is Love?", "3 AM Eternal" and "Last Train To Trancentral". 3 great tracks. They did crazy things and unexpected ones.

The 1990s had so many different vibes going on and I pretty much enjoyed all of them I'm 50 now but looking back at the music that was around then , you really had so much to choose from and even though I was a guitarist , rock and electric blues , heavy metal and grunge were thing I had a thing for dance music too so this song was definitely on my list of music I played back in the day , I love the energy and vibe !

KLF were radical back then! America: What Time Is Love tied in with 1992, allegedly the 1000th anniversary of the discovery of America by the Justified and Ancient of Mu-Mu. Really wild. If you like this music style, try Utah Saints. Their single Something Good actually sampled Kate Bush, and got released in 1992 and 2008, reaching UK top 10 in the original version and the vastly freshened-out remix. Worth checking out.

"Live at Trancentral" was never live. It was recorded at "Trancentral" which is how they called their basement studio under Cauty's house. KLF were massive trolls and built their whole act around being as fake as possible. Like adding sounds of crowds raving to what was literally recorded at home. Using a computer with sequencing software. It doesn't seem abnormal now, mostly thanks to Scooter which drove KLF ideas up to 11, but KLF is the prime reason why Scooter came to exist in the first place, so respect to the men in the ice cream van. In fact I'd recommend you reading The Manual if you ever want to understand how KLF ticked and what made them so great and, ironically, unique back in the day (despite literally writing a manual for how to be KLF AND "borrowing" everything from everyone they could).

IT was all about the cult 😉 The cult of MUMU 😁 They have created the whole story and religion about it... That was SO exciting back then... I still love them to bits... I listen to them very often. Their songs make my Day... You said you want to take the clubbing journey through the 90's... I can take you there... You can't imagine how exciting it was. WHEN you hear "Last train to Transcentral", or The Shamen's "Boss Drum", or any The Prodigy song... Would blow you away. I was there, in the middle of disco inferno of the 90's 😁

Well, were inspired by a religion and back story that began with the Principia Discordia (freely available online) which, in turn, became a theme in the "Illuminati Trilogy" by Robert Anton Wilson and Robert Shea. It is, of course all a parody and all of the many strange coincidences and synchronicities is simply the Universe having a laugh & nothing to be overly concerned about....
