Remember that Tina taught Mick Jagger how to dance and control the stage. She terrified me in that lift when I saw her. It was a outdoor concert in the South during summertime. Very humid and she stepped outside the rail of that thing high up in the air and held on with one hand. Thrilled the audience. What a performer! Gave 110%.

I was a child and this was the first Tina tour I attended. This was supposed to be her last at 60 in 2000. She came back in 2008 and I saw her again. I’m glad I was able to see her twice.

What's interesting is this ends up not being her last concert. She did one more in 2008-9. In Barcolina an she was 69yrs old when she finished this last an final concert. At nearly 70yrs old. Who else can do this. Only Tina! Epic Doing it for 2hrs running across stage in high heels . Unbelievable.

At the end of the platform, in the crowd, were four men who bulldozed their way onto a spot that had markings. Then never moved an inch - because if Tina fell they were there to catch and protect her from the fans.

Maybe react to Tina live in Rio ‘88. First number Addicted To Love.?In front of 188,000 people at Maracana Stadium In 100 degree heat. The crowd all had fans to help cool themselves. So there are thousands of fans being thrown in the air constantly. It looks cool. And Tine still full pelt energy throughout the whole show.

Rio 88 was the concert that made me an eternal fan of this legend since I was 2 years old. That performance holds a special place in my heart, 180,000 people, the first time she filled a football stadium (her dream), 48 years old? Incredible, simply incredible. It is because of Tina Turner, that I want to be an entertainer.

And the old school legends don't lip sync. This is a different arrangement (as usual)--Tina wrote this song and had like 4 versions of it. One of my favorites. Yeah, she had the best sax player...forgot his name, but he's great.

My mom lived to 89 .she passed suddenly 3 weeks after her birthday. She was having a great time in Vegas 1 week after her birthday. Hope yours has many more.
