You have to read between the lines, but Carr is in seventh heaven with Kubiak after a season with Carmichael, constantly bringing up the attention to detail EVERYONE is required to embrace. Pistol Pete probably thought attention to detail is what happens at a high price car wash.

Derek carr saying he is at the team facility because they didn't win enough games is what we want to hear from our $150+ qb it kinda made me flash back to Drew Brees a bit but I didn't think I would be excited to watch saints games this year primarily because of DA but I think with these new offensive coaches maybe their philosophies will rub off on DA (pause) you can kinda see it in DAs interviews but I just want to see this team win idc of its by 1 point or 30 points I want to see this team make a playoff run

The reason for the preseason is not to get ready for the season. The reason for preseason is to make money for the owners. If they dropped more preseason games it would have to come with concessions, like adding another regular season game.

You're bitter because you follow every single one of Carr's moves like he broke your heart for not allowing a trade to happen. He got what he deserved which is a contract and QB1 spot while the Raiders got ZERO in return and still doesn't have a QB1 on your team ever since he left. Why would we be bitter when Carr is in a far better situation then the Raiders is?

James great show as usual but comments on interim coach look at the 2021 season on how it ended on a high and then ownership trying to change the Raider way into the patriots way with McDumbass as HC and set the team back 2 years and disrespecting the organization and fans. AP will not be as conservative as you think and will definitely has hired coordinators to make decisions for and with him. Here’s a stat Since 2018 there have been 13 Head Coaches fired mid season. In the next game the teams went 8-5. After that, the record is 29-55 for a .345 win percentage. Point is, the good vibes don’t last.

Made it through! I knew it would be a long one with the original at 30. You did get my blood boiling with that old film of Carr doing a fake end around. I almost threw up on my couch when I saw that play live. What a stupid play call. You finally have me fired up for the season. I've been resisting the hopium but I'm back on the wagon again! Carr does just seem more relaxed and hopeful. The vibes seem good all around. I just hope the Oline doesn't faceplant our season....

I watched it all the way through. I also got Lavonte David (scouts' honor), but admittedly, didn't get Bates or Horn. I really don't think it matters if you defer or take the opening kickoff. Both teams get the ball to start one of the halves. People will say, oh, you want the ball in the 2nd half so if you score at the end of the first half you can double dip, but I don't buy it. When you give the other offense the ball you're just increasing the likelihood you're gonna let them score first and now you're playing from behind. The response to that could be, no, no, we'll stop them and get the ball back. Fine, if you're gonna do that with the opening kick, then do it in the 2nd half, too.
