*NOTE - I did this video to see how the black wheels would look on my car. I since have peeled the Plasti-Dip off the wheels and got them officially powder coated black. You can watch that whole process by click on this video here: • Derek D Gets His Wheel...
Here's the original description:
Wanted to update the look of my 2017 VW Passat R-Line, so I decided to add some painted touches. Used G2's high-gloss, high-heat resistant red paint for the calipers, and black Plasti-Dip on the wheels.
Bottom line, Plasti-Dip is great because if you don't like it anymore you simply can peel it off, or if you just want to see how something looks on your car before you do something permanent. It really is a win/win. Wouldn't recommend Plasti-Dip for LONG TERM.

Do you keep in touch with the FLD crew? You should think about getting together again. Create your own thing. You guys had a nice thing going.

Yup I sure do keep in touch with a lot of them, ESPECIALLY AK! I hear this all the time. The thing is we would need a good size budget to do the show correctly, we don't want to go in reverse ya know what I mean because were already at the top of the game! ALTHOUGH, that being said, AK and I wrote a sitcom about FLD being bought up by a huge corporation and moving us to Brooklyn. It's hilarious and we are pitching it currently. @@comedicd Anything would be better than nothing, backwards or not. If you start with a basic green screen and lighting, who will really know the difference anyways? Self publish on youtube and start getting that youtube money, then you'll have the budget *and* be your own bosses. Give the people what they want! Cop them stylez.

@@mentally.retired I hear you, but like I said we don't want to go in reverse. We were at the top of the game with this, if we are going to do it again, it has to be right....and right now AK and I are focused on getting this sitcom picked up somewhere. TRUST ME YOUR GUYS' MINDS WILL BE BLOWN!

@@comedicd I wouldn't let the budget aspect of it hinder you from pursuing this thing man. You guys always had some solid material. The chemistry was great. I think if you'd just pick up your phone and start recording some content, a lot of people would tune in. I definitely would. Maybe break down some car news, or maybe just review a car, not necessarily a new one, just go for a ride. Maybe when this whole coronavirus thing is over, get together with some dealerships, review some cars, or just record some videos "a day in the life of Derek D". I'm sure people would tune in. I know bills need to get paid, so keep your job. Do it on the side. I'm saying this out of love man. We're all rooting for you. It can't hurt, that's for sure brother. Either way, we appreciate the vid and wish you all the best.

You're not the only one, and I get messages, tweets, emails, comments, etc DAILY. It's a testament to what the show meant to people and I truly appreciate it. That came out really good! Don’t forget adding a few performance name brand stickers (even if you don’t have any parts from said brands installed) will give you extra horsepower too LOL!

Honestly, you can get a FLD type show easily now, without huge costs. If you know how to edit, than it can be a one man deal. I'd do a weekly news update, instead of daily.. and the rest is simple. Camera. Green screen. You wouldn't need a crew, just you and a media PC.
