Over the course of his career, he has given bangers after bangers. Giving us the single Galileo he introduced himself to us. We’re all strangers, Epochs, Poltergeist, Miracle Mile, Lord Forgive Me and his EPs have truly shown me the uniqueness of his craft and only ever raising awareness to me how much he’s going to go higher than ever. This song we have right now only proves to me that he’s staying at peak level after years of steadily perfecting his own music. I hope most of you guys going through this musical journey feel the same way. Love you Derek-

He was making music under the name Kidd Upstairs before the Derek Pope era. Been listening to him since then which has been nearly 15 years. Amanda Bynes, Winner, Frame, Peace, Went Down, just some of the tracks I can think of, off the top of my head. Loads of other bangers he released as Kidd Upstairs. I recommend checking that stuff out ✌️

The tone switch into “Don’t say this too much - I’ve moved moun-tains.” Gives me goosebumps. Dunno how you aren’t more popular man but keep it up. This was one of those songs for me where it was a slow creep. I wasn’t a fan when I first heard it, then I listened to it a few more times and now tonight I’ve played this video like 30 times lol. It takes a lot for me to listen to a newer artists entire album, Pope is one of those that can do that to me. The lyrics are so strong.

I been listening to “For I Have Sinned” once daily since it came out. It put me in such a good mood driving to work or sometimes while working. He has never made a bad song IMO and it feels like he got more consistent overtime. It hurts that he is such a HIDDEN GEM. Hope one day more recognition comes his way. What an amazing ARTIST.
