CHECK OUT MY NEW COURSES ON SKILLSHARE!!
www.skillshare.com/en/r/user/...
See the complete walkthrough of how we create a 3D phone model, light it, animate it, and sync it with audio to create a professional advertisement. The entire process will happen in Blender 2.8 and be rendered completely with the brand new EEVEE real-time render engine.
Feel free to use your own models or try it with a different product. This tutorial will cover the basics behind setting up a product animation and the theories behind lighting and animation.

Hey, everyone, I am getting this question a LOT and it was a poor decision on my part but: the FIRST STEP where I take the cube and scale it down to zero will leave you with DUPLICATE VERTICES! If you do not then right click > merge by distance then you WILL HAVE 'DOUBLES' (vertices on top of each other) which will cause failure in many of the subsequent steps (bevel especially.) This was a silly thing I did in an effort to save our beloved default cube but it has caused more trouble for you all that it was worth! Follow the steps above (seen in video but not given much attention) OR, DELETE the default cube and add a plane, and work with that!

@HUNrobar
@HUNrobar 4 жыл бұрын
@@mrvk699 Depends on many things, but generally you need at least a quad-core processor and a not too old videocard with at least 2-4GB video memory. I would not recommend anything older than 5 years, especially amd cards (Blender doesn't really support models before RX series). You can get away with older nvidia cards like gtx 660-670 or 760-770 series if you can get a used one very cheap but I would recommend at least something like gtx 970, 1050ti, 1060 or similar. I have a GTX970 at the moment and it works nicely with not too complex scenes. (my cpu is Ryzen 1600x, and I had a Ryzen 1200 previously, both work well) For very light scenes on eevee a recent mid-range laptop cpu with integrated graphics could work, but it will get very slow as you increase the complexity

Very nice tutorial Derek, thanks for investing your time to create it and share your knowledge. Great looking results as well using Eevee. Really shows the added value of the rendering engine for this type of work. Didn't mind the length, since it's very interesting and you mention a lot of tips and tricks. Also perfectly fine to do the work first and take us viewers through the general workflow afterwards, because creating stuff like this takes a lot of time as well and following you syncing to that music would drive me a bit crazy :) In any case, you create some awesome tutorials and have a nice voice to listen to (not unimportant for lengthy material) so keep going.

Loved the long tutorial. I really wanted to see you put the whole thing together. I still end up back in AE and Element for the final compositing but with the speed of Eevee, I’d love to see some examples of finished composites in Blender with Audio and finish grading. You used Collections for each scene so I guess you rendered each out then brought them back in but I’m thinking using Video Sequence Editor so things can still be adjusted right up to final output but I’ve never done it that way myself; recent Lightwave convert and loving it!

I wish I would've found this before I tried it out myself, because I know I could've done more, but I learned by doing without a tutorial and now I can refine what I've learned after watching this and make my next renders better.
