Thoughts on the Costco food court? Would you eat here?

Finally a food court that isnt completely insulting in terms of price to quality

Kudos to Costco for keeping prices down with their pizzas and hot dogs. I just wished they would bring back the combo and veggie pizza. I also wish they bring back the chocolate dipped ice cream they had several years ago before the pandemic.

I have to say this is the funniest video I have seen of you two. I am still laughing because when my husband and I eat in the car it is always an adventure. Hi Derek and Catherine; great review of the Costco food court! I have been a member with them for several years, and my go to at the food court is the hotdog! The BEST $1.50 on the planet! My next go to is the cheese pizza. If you can get it while it is hot right after they put it in the window, grab a slice! Enjoy your week you two! CAB😍🌭

Extra Tramp=Hilarious Great as usual!

Pre Covid, here in the Vancouver, Canada area, our Costcos also had sauerkraut, onion and jalapeño toppings. I was told by a food court employee that these condiments were initially stopped because of Covid and then permanently axed as a cost cutting measure. We only now have the little mustard, ketchup and relish packs. Still a great value.

I think I miss the combo pizza they used to sell. Could even get a veggie pizza back in the day and it was good too.

I miss the Strawberry Frozen Yogurt parfait. It had less calories and it was cheaper 😢

Hot Dog VIOLATION #1...Catsup; 1-year suspension from COSTCO food court (same as Dodger Stadium).

The fork thing is why I always keep extras in my glove compartment. Living in California has taught me to anticipate low level of service and consideration for the need of utensils. If you don't ask, they usually won't provide it.

I saw on a video where they opened up the end of a chicken bake and slid in a hot dog! Lol!

I loved the Chicken Caesar Salad but they discontinued it here in San Clemente before Covid. It used to be $4.99!! Also, won't get hot dogs anymore since Covid when they stopped having the chopped onion dispenser. I can't have their dogs without onions. They also discontinued sauerkraut that you could ask for which they had them refrigerated by the cashier. Thumbs down to the food court, Melaney from SoCal

Their Hot Dogs are fabulous! I agree. My wife and I tried the chicken bake recently and loved it. Cutting into quarters made it more manageable. Thanks for the Yeoman’s Work.

Where I live now in Central America the Costco’s here are called Pricesmart. The food courts have all of those items you tried but they also have a cheeseburger, chicken burger, french fries, chicken pieces and chicken wings. The burgers and fries are good but the chicken pieces and wings are amazing.

The Pizza is always tasty but I agree with both of you, the hotdogs are beefy and longer than the bun and well worth the money. Only $1.50 with a drink!!!!! BEST DEAL EVER!!!!! I love Costco's Food Court. Thanks for your review. Usually pick up the hot dog/drink combo on my way out for a quick lunch. Can't beat $1.50 plus tax.👍 They used to have a polish dog that was so good but no more. Haven't tried Starry yet. Pepsi stopped making Sierra Mist 6 months ago and replaced it with Starry. Not a big fan of their pepperoni or cheese pizzas but they used to sell a combo pizza that was really good. They no longer sell it.😥 Sorry you didn't get the churro. They're pretty good but kind of glad you didn't get it because all the cinnamon sugar would have gotten all over your car. Cleaning up that mustard on your steering wheel is a breeze compared to sugar.

Hi Catherine and Derek Some of the food at Costco is really good. The hotdogs I would put as number one the pizza I would put as number two and everything else is pretty good. However, considering the prices at inflation, I think they’re all good I wish there were more restaurants that would price their meals like Costco for maybe a day or a week or some period of time out of the year would be nice. Excellent. Video as always.

I really like the new Caesar salad! I take it home and cut up the chicken because the pieces are too big. 2 meals for me which makes it a good deal even though it’s the most expensive item.

I would try the food court. The prices are pretty reasonable and as always love watching your great reviews.

I loved their churos, one of my favorite food in Costco. My husband missed the polish sausage. My son loved the pizza and the hotdog. With costco price I get both for lunch and skipped dinner😋

Joined Costco when it was called Price Club in NewYork. I have a habit of watching my vloggers when they go to Costco. If there is one thing I noticed wherever you go there will be different items. Some you wish we had access to more than others. In N.Y. we don't have Starry but we have Mt. Dew (not Diet which is better). We have regular brisk, no flavor. What I miss the most was the Frozen Yogurt instead of ice cream, the combo pizza slice and the vegan al pastore. They also had a delicious but messy brisket sandwich. Once when I was in a New Jersey Costco they had french fries, I never saw the pizza served cut like you had it unless you ask for it that way. Don't worry about how fresh the pizza is. You'll find they replace it within minutes, at least here, where the food court lines can be crazy.

The berry sundae has always been my favorite. I used to get one two or three times a month until I realized how many calories are in them. I love the chicken bake as well. Costco has good food and great prices.

I have a brilliant idea - hot dog & a half-slice of pizza + drink. Dog & a full slice is a bit much for most people - cutting it down to a half slice would make for the perfect cheap lunch combo.
