I would imagine a severely active acne issue wouldn't allow for the treatment, but this treatment probably helps alleviate future acne if you go during a down-time. ^_^

I love this. When doing it on yourself is there a special direction you should use I’ve seen people go from the forehead down and yet I think you’re supposed to go against the grain

Personally I like to remove sideways across the forehead, kinda of diagonal

Once one begins derma-planing treatments does it require upkeep? Does the fine downy hair come back more noticable, like with leg hair etc? This treatment looks so relaxing that I'm considering getting it done but I'm hesitant if it means I'll need it done every 6 weeks from then on due to new growth.

I don't think it requires upkeep. The fine hair takes a while to grow back and it's still fine, it does have a blunter end at first but tapers over time. For me it's the exfoliation that makes me want to do it again

I have done extractions in the past as part of a facial, I find dermaplaning helps with the built up oils around the nostrils and forehead. Adding in extractions would be the ultimate squeaky clean face eh?
