As someone who often feels flushed/hot in the face and can get itchy patches and rashes, Aveeno daily moisturizing lotion is great too. The finish is pretty matte too, so I have been really liking it.

I've been a fan of the Neutrogena Hydrating fragrance - free creamy cleanser and the Vanicream Moisturizing lotion for 5 years now 🥰 The Vanicream facial moisturizer with SPF 30 is another favorite too. I also use fragrance - free laundry soap which helps with my allergies - and using a humidifier every night. Thank you Dr. Sugai for sharing 😊 Take care everyone 🌹

I love to watch your videos. In fact, I started purchasing Skinbetter Science products. I have been searching on KZfaq for a skin care routine for morning and night for over 50. I'm going to be 60 this summer and have never made skin care a priority when I was younger. Could you do a skin care routine (morning and night) using just the Skinbetter Science products? Have a Merry Christmas and I can't wait to continue watching your videos in 2024.

I still can get oily even in the winter, not sure why that is. I'll use the heavier LRP Cica Baume B5 as a moisturizer, but I still wash twice a day with a gentle foaming cleanser like CeraVe or LRP.

Thank you for all the work it took to write this! Please tell us the difference between AHA and BHA... I have nice but mature skin and have Paula's Choice BHA but it that the right one for me at my age?
@champagenroses8 ай бұрын
I have sensitive skin, I use a AHA product once a week. AHAs and BHAs are both chemical exfoliants used to remove dead skin cells from the skin. AHAs are water-soluble, while BHAs are oil-soluble. BHAs can penetrate the skin through sebaceous glands, dissolve the mix of sebum and dead skin that leads to acne, stabilize the lining of the pore, and clear up blackheads, whiteheads, and have anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. Salicylic acid is a popular anti-acne ingredient in BHAs. Both types of acids are often found together in skincare formulas for maximum results for certain skin issues, such as acne.

I have small bumps on a certain area of my cheek and I think they are blackheads. I think the reason is tretinoin cream. At first I didn't know how to use it and I put too much on my face. I didn't use sunscreen. Then one day I noticed a brown spot on my cheek. I think there is a stain due to sunburn and there are small blackheads in the area where this stain is located. After taking a break from using the cream, I used the cream again in the correct way, but it did not help, and I think it caused more blackheads. I haven't used the cream for 1 year and there is no improvement. Even though my skin is dry, I don't even use moisturizer anymore. All the facial moisturizing creams I used caused blackheads. Blackheads annoy me. What should I do? Help me please 😢

Dear Dr Sugai, please please help me, I have been researching this for weeks... Can I layer Copper peptide serum (1%) with Matrixyl 3000 serum (8%) without the potential of them itneracting in some way and reducing their efficacy? ( I started worry about this after I read on Timeless skincare website that the don't recomment layering their MAtrixyl 3000 serum with their MAtrixyl Synthe 6 serum due to potential interaction between peptide signaling activities (headbang). I want to layer copper with MAtrixyl because they work in different ways. I don't want to alternate days because all research is done on ingredients used daily, so maybe they are not effective used every other day? Please please help, this drives me to agony:D

Why do you use filters in your videos? At 4:40 we can see your actual skin texture. Is that not unethical or misleading? There is nothing wrong with it but it feels dishonest coming from a dermatologist.
