I’m not a Taylor swift fan. However sometimes when I listen to covers I agree, her songwriting can be very impressive and seems to show better on other artists just as someone who doesn’t particularly like her voice or sound. Would be interesting to hear her intentionally write for other artists when/if she decides to stop doing her own music

Never appreciated and enjoyed an artist's art as much as i love and appreciate what dermot does, since i discovered dermot 3 years ago I've been listening to his music everyday morning and night, i ease my panic attacks and anxiety with his songs, most remomable one when i had an accident in the highway and still had to drive back to my hometown and had a bad panic attack and played without fear album all the way back and find ease and peace through it, I can't wait to listen to sonder over and over again and not get sick of it just like his old songs and album, never got sick of them! @@moniquekwachou342 Good point. My guess would be that is because although she wants to be taken seriously as a singer/songwriter, she does also want to make money (and that is fair) so she tries to also make them as catchy as possible and does commercialized them. However, I think finally took a gamble with Folklore and Evermore and got away from that to a large degree. At least temporarily, because Midnights seems to have gone back to her old "ways". though I love some of her lyrics on Midnights too!

Verse 1] I have this thing where I get older, but just never wiser Midnights become my afternoons When my depression works the graveyard shift, all of the people I've ghosted stand there in the room [Pre-Chorus] I should not be left to my own devices They come with prices and vices I end up in crisis (Tale as old as time) I wake up screaming from dreaming One day, I'll watch as you're leaving 'Cause you got tired of my scheming (For the last time) Chorus] It's me, hi I'm the problem, it's me At teatime, everybody agrees I'll stare directly at the sun, but never in the mirror It must be exhausting always rooting for the anti-hero [Verse 2] Sometimes, I feel like everybody is a sexy baby And I'm a monster on the hill Too big to hang out, slowly lurching toward your favorite city Pierced through the heart, but never killed [Pre-Chorus] Did you hear my covert narcissism I disguise as altruism Like some kind of congressman? A tail as old as time) I wake up screaming from dreaming One day, I'll watch as you're leaving And life will lose all its meaning (For the last time) [Chorus] It's me, hi I'm the problem, it's me (I'm the problem, it's me) At teatime, everybody agrees I'll stare directly at the sun, but never in the mirror It must be exhausting always rooting for the anti-hero Bridge] I have this dream my daughter-in-law kills me for the money She thinks I left them in the will The family gathers 'round and reads it and then someone screams out "She's laughing up at us from Hell" [Breakdown] It's me, hi I'm the problem, it's me It's me, hi I'm the problem, it's me It's me, hi Everybody agrees, everybody agrees Chorus] It's me, hi (Hi) I'm the problem, it's me (I'm the problem, it's me) At teatime (Teatime), everybody agrees (Everybody agrees) I'll stare directly at the sun, but never in the mirror It must be exhausting always rooting for the anti-hero

@@IslaDrakeWrites or were you being quick to correct someone because you lack the ability to feel adequate in any other mundane part of your bland existence so you act snarky and still can even do that basic task right?

@theewtuber great job editing your comment. You originally said she didn't write the song. I said she did.

Wow That was amazing. That’s what singing should be. Raw emotion in song.

"Anti-Hero" I have this thing where I get older, but just never wiser Midnights become my afternoons When my depression works the graveyard shift All of the people I've ghosted stand there in the room I should not be left to my own devices They come with prices and vices, I end up in crisis (Tale as old as time) I wake up screaming from dreaming One day I'll watch as you're leaving 'Cause you got tired of my scheming (For the last time) It's me Hi I'm the problem, it's me At teatime Everybody agrees I'll stare directly at the sun, but never in the mirror It must be exhausting always rooting for the anti-hero Sometimes I feel like everybody is a sexy baby And I'm a monster on the hill Too big to hang out Slowly lurching toward your favorite city Pierced through the heart but never killed Did you hear my covert narcissism I disguise as altruism like some kind of congressman? (Tale as old as time) I wake up screaming from dreaming One day I'll watch as you're leaving and life will lose all its meaning (For the last time) It's me Hi I'm the problem, it's me (I'm the problem, it's me) At teatime Everybody agrees I'll stare directly at the sun, but never in the mirror It must be exhausting always rooting for the anti-hero I have this dream my daughter-in-law kills me for the money She thinks I left them in the will The family gathers 'round and reads it And then someone screams out "She's laughing up at us from hell!" It's me Hi I'm the problem, it's me It's me Hi I'm the problem, it's me It's me Hi Everybody agrees Everybody agrees It's me Hi (Hi) I'm the problem, it's me (I'm the problem, it's me) At teatime (Time) Everybody agrees (Everybody agrees) I'll stare directly at the sun, but never in the mirror It must be exhausting always rooting for the anti hero
