I lost my dad to Covid-19 35 days ago, and everyday on my way to the hospital i played this song, for 46 days. And somedays I'd play it at the hospital and stare at him and think of how he's getting weaker day by day. There was something about this song that made me feel so strong. And now listening to this, the 46 days spent in the hospital are flashing before my eyes. This song holds a very special place in my heart, just like the memories made while listening to this. Thank you Dermot for this song

Brings a memory of the woman I love so dearly, my LK, my Draga. She tried to save me multiple times, she did everything. But my hurt was so deep that I couldn’t face what life put in front of me. I became angry and frustrated and would hurt myself and anyone else that was around me. She had the courage to stay next to me during all these times and I was unkind to her. I did unforgiving things. I caused her so much pain. By the time I made a peace with myself, it was too late. Except it was not late. Your love Draga, our love healed me. Even though I couldn’t see the full extent of it then, I can see it all now. I hope you do forgive me so I can keep showing you how much I love you for the rest of our lives. There are sirens in the background of the first live version which is so chilling and I always thought it was intentional. Hopefully, he considers adding that to the audio at his shows in the future. It was perfect timing for the song......but you know unfortunate for the patient😕
