Makes me think that they could actually make the real Derren Brown train float with magnets.. With the drop ride apocalypse at drayton manor for example, it uses rare earth magnets to stop the cars at the bottom, which means that the brakes technically can never fail, unless the earth flips on it's axis (which is kinda unlikely in the middle of a ride). With this technology you could combine powered magnets with earth magnets (for safety) so people could get on the ride thinking "it's held by chains" - and then you could literally be decoupled from them and go floating around the place, which would be very scary if you didn't know how it was done! Not saying this is what I think Derren's ghost train will be.. but it's a good idea i guess! :P Can't wait until it opens.

ahh I went there in May last year and it wasn't open because derren hadn't tested it yet. they had the floating train on display and they said they would email me when is available for sale but they didn't grrrrrrr.

Are these sold exclusively at the theme park? I'm an American trying to get a hold of one.
