Recorded: January 17th, 2023

Get on the bus with NFL players Will Compton & Taylor Lewan! The Boys are letting you in on their hilarious, high-energy (and often heartfelt) conversations. Topics range from exclusive stories to active player perspectives to out-of-left-field hot takes on things you and your friends only discuss behind closed doors. Sometimes they chat with a guest, sometimes it's just the two of them, but it's always a good time when you're Bussin' With The Boys.
And yes, this is the podcast where Mike Vrabel said he'd cut his piece off for a Super Bowl.

Nah it's because its Michigan state like the other guy said. But also Henry is 100% right the SEC is the best conference pretty easily. I would say the big10 is second though they are better than the big 12 and pac 10 and generally acc too

The Big 10 has a lot of ignorant people. Bama has won more national championships in the new era than the entire Big 10 combined. That's not counting LSU's natty and Georgia's 2 in a row. Not to mention the top 3 and arguably top 4 best teams in the new era to win a natty were all SEC teams. When was the last time a Big 10 player won the Heisman? 2006. The SEC is miles better than the Big 10. Probably the worst SEC team to be fielded in the new era and we took the best Big 10 team in the new era to OT and lost on the last play of the game. There is no comparison.

I mean he honestly shouldn’t need to explain it….the nfl moves like a well oiled machine compared to college….everyone KNOWS what their doing and are all doing their individual jobs to make one outcome happen on each play….and that’s not even the physical side of it, dudes in the nfl are bigger stronger and faster as well….it’s just NOT the same game….if you’ve ever played college football imagine the difference from brain dead ass highschool where your just running around not knowing wtf is going on, to college where everything gets broken down at a micro level and teams really MAKE you understand the game of football, now imagine that highschool to college leap, but now like TEN TIMES it from college to nfl…these guys get paid millions to entertain us and do their jobs….shits DIFFERENT up there
@virgilgreen4915
@virgilgreen4915 Жыл бұрын
The difference is in college you are playing against a team with maybe 5 or 6 great athletes and in the NFL you are playing against teams where just about everyone is just as athletic as you. You can't take a break or let your foot off the pedal because the guy behind you can take your place.
@willspinner2968
@willspinner2968 Жыл бұрын
On the money. Same with all college sports vs pro’s. College Basketball has maybe 1 or 2 guys who will get drafted on the top teams. But in the nba, well, this is the TOP guys all together on the same damn court. Truly different from being a college kid, to a grown ass man with money and the desire for job security.
@Level3YoyoMaster
@Level3YoyoMaster Жыл бұрын
I think you actually undersell the difference. In college everyone is a great athlete compared to the general population. They are already in the 1% of their given sport. Once you are in the NFL you are in the 1% of the 1%. To put it in terms of money, college football would be the millionaire class. The NFL is the billionaire class. Both are in the 1%, but the latter is much more rare. The difference between the typical household and a millionaire is much closer than the millionaire to the billionaire.

Context to the Alabama / MSU game for people who don’t know: It was 10-0 at half. MSU playing with a hurt starting QB who threw a bad pick in the end zone at the end of the second quarter. Throw the same ball again, could have been 10-7 going into half. Game got out of hand in the late 3rd (was 17-0 few minutes before 4th) when Alabama subbed out Derrick Henry for a fresh Kenyan Drake and Bo Scarbrough and what felt like half the team lol. Additionally (I’m a MSU fan) MSU came off an unbelievable season of fortunate events and luck. Any fan would have wished to have a chance with our 2013/2014 teams in the Playoffs. So, in my opinion, that game wasn’t that out of hand and it was a really underwhelming team to play for a game that’s caliber.

In the next two drives Bama got picked, and punted twice, after which Elliott scored the big run to put it away.
