Derrick Henry's Future In The NFL + How Close He Was To Being Traded From The Tennessee Titans

Recorded: January 8th 2024 | In this week's episode we sit down with not only one of the boys but also the King, Derrick Henry. Derrick and the Titans just finished up their season and there are a lot of question marks surrounding Derrick's future with the team. So where else would he want to talk about his future than with the boys.
Derrick and the guys first get into a lot of reminiscing from the last couple years on the team including times from Will was on the team. They talk about their run's that they had in 2019 and 2020. The game they had in Baltimore and how wild the atmosphere was, the game they had in Kansas City where Mahomes had that crazy run going into halftime. Some of the stories that the guys tell really just give you that vibe of a couple of old guys just reflecting on the good ole days.
Following the reflection period, Will and Taylor ask him the question that everybody wants to know, what does the future look like for Derrick Henry? Derrick doesn't necessarily have an answer for that question. The biggest thing he was harping on was that he wants to win a Super Bowl and he isn't sure if that's a possibility with Tennessee. Derrick also gives us a glimpse into the crazy time period when everyone thought he was going to get traded. Overall, it's a great convo with a lot of reflection on some good times as well as looking to the times ahead. Enjoy fellas!

Taylor’s playoff picks were spot on. He nailed every single game and called out how it would go down. “Flacco gives it up” “Stroud is really that dude” “Dallas doesn’t have it strategically, way better team” Etc; He even called Lions/Rams being the best game of the weekend.👏

just want to take the time to thank Derrick for all that he has given to the Titans. I am a titans fan and bama alum, and derrick is my favorite player. Selfishly I want derrick to remain in a titans jersey but if he goes anywhere else, I want him to get a ring cuz he deserves it, also shoutout to taylor and will, when y'all were on the team, it truly felt like the golden era of titans football in my lifetime.

Like 30 minute into Derricks interview. The core memories being revisited and talking about the true Titans/Vrabel culture has been incredible to listen to. Great episode with Henry and I think it’s selfish for wanting to Henry to come back to the team knowing the current situation, and how he wants a ring so bad. But man he is the identity of the team, and im telling you it won’t ever be the same and not seeing him as the 3 down workhorse out of the backfield. How he’s impacted this organization is truly remarkable.

Boys!!! I'm from the Philly area, huge Titans fan. Bought a ticket to my first game I'm Nashville, round 1 against bengals! You guys had that one!!!! All those fans kept yelling "Who Dey!!!" We will miss you King. You just had that feeling how close and tight everyone who was drafted in those times played hard together. I think Henry should join the Lions because I have that same vibe from the old Titans. Dan Campbell seems like the players coach and everyone seems to respect and play their ass off for him.
