I don’t know where @BlueBloodSportsTV got the receipts of a supposed text between James & Spence where it allegedly shows Spence agreeing that he owes James the extra money, going as far as asking where to send the money & once James gave the account info Spence said he was sending the money there, which James never received. Spence then later states he didn’t have the money in liquid assets to actually pay James what was said he owed 🤷🏾‍♂️

If there is no WRITTEN agreement saying he is owed 10% of the purse, Derrick James is wasting his time. No trainer is worth 3.5 million for a single fight.

I noticed during the fight, that Derrick James was giving Errol instructions during the fight, that Errol wasn't trying or doing, so it's not totally James' fault for the outcome, and I don't know if it would be helpful in court, but James posted a text message from Errol, were Errol said he was going to pay him the 2.1 million, but had to wait about a week because he didn't have the liquid cash available at that time. It may come down to whether the court considers that email as binding or not

Before the fight during the airing of the Showtime All Access episodes Errol called DJ the best training in Boxing, because if I'm halfstepping in camp he'll tell me I'm halfstepping, so now all of a sudden DJ was the reason for the loss?

That 10 percent will likely be before tax is taken. So it actually helps spence to pay less tax, because it's written off as an expense. He literally wants to give his money to the tax man. SMH.

So was it just about the money for both of them? I feel like there’s some deeper issue going on here otherwise it’s something that they could have easily settled because for the wins and impact they have had on each other it shouldn’t resort to this Derrick could have been like we lost gimme 5% or something reasonable or you know what forget about more so as someone that lost too on that night so we definitely don’t have the full story so it’s hard to say what’s right or wrong. Who knows but I don’t think he would be wasting money to sue him if there was no evidence.

If hes that bitter about a lose to Terrence Crawford why didn't he attempt to get his lick back im sure Derrick James n Spence's team would have taken Bud more seriously and the results would have been better than the first fight I still believe Bud would have stopped him again but atleast he could of made somewhat competitive for as long as it lasted for we all know its about losing but how you lose that alters the perception of the fans/people. I like your videos but disagree here. There are too many people lacking honour and integrity. We saw something similar happen between Golvkin and Able Sanchez, you agree to something you honour it. It was all fine when he was winning, but now he lost, its trainers fault, and now you can't honour the agreed payment? A handshake or verbal agreement is an agreement. Pay what you said and move on. It's sad to see how money can ruin working relationships.
