D.Rose kinda reminds me of DeMar DeRozan. Both poured their heart and soul out for their first team, but both got traded in the end. Both are very humble and likable, both are more slashers than shooters, both are pretty good at playmaking. Even their names sound similar.

He says that BJ told him that “something might happen” when we all heard the phone call we know that something DID happen. It’s just all so incredibly sad, he loved Chicago so much. That’s what separated him. We had MJ, but MJ moved on from us. He went and bought a team and now you don’t see him hanging around with the Bulls or anything like that. One of my all time favorite players in The NBA. HE BROUGHT back the 🔥. Now in Memphis. STILL love watching him walk on the court to get thoes minutes and giving it the best he can. Sad about injuries. My son is a very good football player in high school. But with his shoulder dislocating over and over. Dr say up for surgery. It makes him upset that his career ended b4 it even started. 😢.

I will forever root for rose. I’m a regular ol guy who works a 9-5 and tore my ACL and Meniscus, and rehab has been agony and tough on my mental with every setback, and the fact he’s still incredibly important to my knicks in 2021 makes me want to come back from this and be better. Thank you Derrick Rose.

This video explains a lot of what i couldnt quite understand as a Knicks fan at that time. Now i get a better sense of how he must ve felt during his first time with the Knicks. He looked totally changed last season, had a much happier energy and played on an all star level all season. Of course Chicago must be special to him, but i believe he s happy playing for the Knicks now and wants to be in NY at the moment.

He was a 18 point scoring point guard with 5 assists per game when y’all first had him & you guys ain’t had shit before or after him putting up that production if it wasn’t for the Pistons having loyalty to D.Rose he wouldn’t have been back in NYC and the Knicks still not going anywhere important
@chantellebrown5457
@chantellebrown5457 2 жыл бұрын
@@mykejae3493 first of all, relax. You sound like you have a personal beef with the Knicks. Take it down a few notches. Yeah, DRose averaged 18 points. But he said himself that mentally he was not there, especially after being traded unexpectedly. They missed the playoffs, and he was unengaged at certain points in the season. I don’t blame him because he had a lot going on but if you were a REAL DRose fan you’d know that year was rocky. As for the pistons, they are trying to rebuild. Trading DRose was in their best interest and he wanted to leave and play playoff basketball. The Knicks gave him a better shot at that than the pistons. You can say whatever you want about the Knicks. But real basketball fans know that they’re getting better every year. Just three years ago they won 17 games. Two years later they’re the 4th seed. 🤷🏽‍♀️

This is precisely why I agree with KD's comments on why people are mad about players asking out of their teams and yet don't ask questions when a team/admin trades out a player who poured their heart and soul into an organization. You don't pay someone to be loyal, you have to show loyalty first.
