If the second injury doesn't happen, Derrick is still a superstar. While he was having some difficulty after the ACL, once he went out in 2013 he lost the bounce and acceleration that made him absolutely unstoppable. That said I got to go to some of his best playoff games. I was in Boston game 1 the year the Celtics won it. I was in Chicago when they faced Miami in the ECF and got to go to two games. It was a magical 3 years that he gave us. Also we happened to be in the same kindergarten grade (I found this out only in adulthood as he was in a different class).
