Il s'agit d'une chanson de Asik Mahsuni Serif qui est l'un des derniers grands représentants de la tradition des asik (littéralement traduit par "amoureux"). Ce sont des poètes, bardes qui accompagnent leur chant avec le saz (lutte à 3 cordes). Les chansons sont souvent engagées et contestataires. Elles racontent également la tradition alévie qui est une minorité religieuse turques. Et la version de Derya est juste sublime. Sa voix me fait trop penser à celle de Selda Bagcan.

So deep wow. Reminds me of a girl I used to be in love with, she was greek and we were on and off for 6 yrs. She loved this deep sadness of being.. We stopped communicating but I will always feel so deeply for her. I cant stop listening

@@Thabeet34 Mahzuni Serif was an Alevi, who see Ali as the ultimate friend. Osman (Uthman) was the 3rd caliph and an opponent of Ali. So, this line has the same meaning as the next one, "My old friends turned out to be my foes".
