May I ask how much you needed to pay for this surgery? It may be a deciding factor as to whether I can follow this route.

Is there anyone in Australia trained to tackle this. My pain is getting worse and after lying still at night, it’s agonising just to try to lift my leg to turn over. My right leg is weak and my gait has become uneven. The pain in my hip and groin mimics hip pain but it’s not constant. I’m 73. My fear is I’ll have a hip replacement but I’ll still have pain and weakness. I have Tarlov cysts diagnosed because of constant lower spine pain around 2016 and an MRI noted I have Tarlov cysts.

My name is Dianne. I have been told that my tarlov cysts are unlikely to be causing the pain I'm experiencing. Cocyx pain, burning pain, vaginal pain and numbness to just name a few of issues. I've been told I am not going to be offered surgery due to the poor outcomes. Why is this the case in Australia. Can anyone in Australia help with this

The reason that there is no support from the doctors there, is that no one is a TC specialist unfortunately. Can I please ask if you have had this treated over the past year? I am also in Australia and have just been diagnosed with this issue.
