As someone who started watching football 5 years ago but who really respects the players from older generations, I feel like I missed out on football like this; especially 80s and 90s football (also 60s because of Pelé). These rough physical battles and a more rough game overall must have been more exciting. It’s more of a gladiator feel.

The good old days, when players could get away with attempting to end an opponent’s career and not even be booked (see the last challenge, he kicks out at Desailly because he missed hurting him and actually got tackled himself)

Avec le recul, on voit bien que Desailly est en retard sur toutes les actions. Il n'a pas d'autres choix que de faire des fautes pour empêcher stoitchkov de passer. Desailly aurait du avoir un carton rouge pour tout ça.

Incroyable qu'il ait pu finir le match. Sur les deux premières actions, il y a carton. Sur le dernier, c'est rouge pour l'adversaire.

Desailly a fait des tacles bien soignés!Stoichkov tombe tout seul sur la touche pour faire croire que Desailly l'a poussé.Les Footballeurs font trop de cinéma.

Yes, Stoichkov called him a black *&$#@. Desailly demanded that he apologizes. Stoichkov said that he will apologize if Desailly shows a document that states he is not black.
