Einerseits sehr nah am original. Viele Planeten und Orte aus den Filmen, tolle Anspielungen auf die KoTor Lore. Dafür aber so detailreich und aufwendig,, dass man es kaum als Abklatsch bezeichnen könnte. Eure Arbeit ist enorm. Ihr seid sehr stark in der Macht danke für dieses wundervolle Fanprojekt. Wäre gern dabei gewesen

Another excellent chapter! Such consistently brilliant costumes and locations, and I really appreciate the homage to the original design of the Falcon before Space: 1999 came up with a too-close model of their own! The Wampa attack was definitely the highlight for me, gonna react to the next one right now!!!

I'm still invested, Folks. I like the new lore with Darth Nihilus. I actually have a strong feeling/theory that an ancient artifact related to Nihilus (quite possibly his epic mask) will be a major factor in the devastating events of The High Republic multimedia initiative. What's truly scary about this fan film?: This story, and its characters, are maybe even more engaging, imaginative, and (most importantly) coherent than what was ultimately given to Us, in the Obi-Wan Kenobi miniseries. That's not a good thing for Disney/Lucasfilm Ltd. and Disney +; but a good thing for this creative team of true SW Fans. Thank you, again. Subscribed, and May The Force Be With You all... P.S. I was sorry to see Tio go. Now, I actually want to see him show up somewhere in The Bad Batch. :)

In universe: Jumping out of the ship just before it goes off the cliff :-) Behind the scenes: We were missing footage because it was destroyed during filming in -20° and humidity. So I had to solve it by a (unfortunately unattractive) cut.

The FX density is so expressive and at times the quality is really totally stunning, just looking like a real 1985 Star Wars movie.

Super Episode mal wieder! Insbesondere von Durka bin ich nach wie vor absolut begeistert. Mir gefällt die Serie wirklich sehr gut bisher und ich bin auch schon gespannt auf die nächsten Episoden. Wenn alle Teile erschienen sind, wird dann das Projekt auch nochmal als ganzer fließender Film veröffentlicht? Es funktioniert natürlich auch als Serie super und es ist cool jede Woche dem nächsten Teil entgegenzufiebern, doch das ganze als einen vollen Star Wars Fanspielfilm zu sehen fände ich echt klasse! Vielen Dank euch für die 16 Jahre Arbeit und Liebe die ihr reingesteckt habt, man merkt es dem Projekt deutlich an und es ist für mich jetzt schon das beste Fanfilmprojekt, dass ich kenne. LG

For how much was spent on costumes, chu etc you would think the duologue would be better, but pretty decent

Luckily we only had to build the costumes at the beginning and they weren't really good either (but also cheap). Over time, more and more cosplayers joined the team. These, in turn, have of course partly invested several thousand euros in their costumes.

The English dubbing was done by Ian Swann, a wonderful voice actor. As I am a big James Bond fan besides Star Wars, I had indeed asked him to give the actor a slight Connery touch. Glad you noticed :-)

did anyone ever wonder why the alliance chose yavin4 as a base? I mean its the grave of exar kun and his massasi warriors, which could be a threat of their own. Tho the presence of the dark side may prevent them from being discovered by the emporer.

That's why I wanted to include Yavin IV in the story. It's much more than just a hangar and hiding place for the rebel fleet, it's a place with a dark legacy and there's a lot of ancient knowledge within its walls.

wieder eine starke Episode - Wahnsinns Landschaftsaufnahmen - ich empfehle dazu auf der Homepage die Videos "filming on location" wo habt ihr den Eisplaneten gefilmt? Hattet ihr einen Helikopter für die Absturzsequenz? Mich würde eine Liste (Weltkarte?) aller Locations interessieren, an denen ihr für dieses Projekt gewesen seid

Speziell zu dem Eisplaneten wird es noch ein kleines Making of geben. Da lief bei den Dreharbeiten einiges schief (ich sage nur Schneesturm), viel zu erzählen es da gibt :-)

You may be right, but since our movie/series takes place BEFORE Episode 4 "A new hope", Boba hasn't had any contact with the hungry Sarlacc yet :-) Tioman's comment about Boba's survival skills was pure assumption !

The death of tio man was so unepic... And the last Dialog was so Bad. Had been better Just be shot and this was it. Boba didnt made a good Job, He was still alive!

Boba's shot was ultimately lethal, giving him a few last minutes to say farewell was a gesture of appreciation between brothers in arms. You can learn more about their missions together in our audio books.

In der Tat ist die deutsche Synchro bereits in Arbeit, bei ca. 70 Sprechrollen wird das aber leider eine kleine Weile dauern. Die lippensynchrone Script-Fassung wird dieses Jahr fertig und dann werden wir umgehend mit (sogar prominenten) Sprechern in die Vertonung gehen. Also blein bitte dran :-)

WHY not just shoot in the forest behind the house ? Why create all these worlds, why all these creatures, why hundreds of effects shots, why tell a story over 2h ? Why try things that no other fan film has done before, even if the end result is not always perfect ? Because we had a dream. THATS´s WHY ! And there is nothing poor about it !
