32 Adjectives to describe FOOD in English.
An adjective that can be used to describe food appears on the screen. Below this adjective is its simple definition and an example sentence. To the right there is a photo associated with the adjective and that example sentence to help with understanding.
The adjectives that appear in this lesson are:
Bitter, bland, chewy, creamy, crispy, crumbly, crunchy, delicious, dry, fresh, greasy, healthy, hot, juicy, mashed, mild, nutty, raw, rich, ripe, roast(ed), rotten, salty, seasoned, savory, sour, spicy, stale, sweet, syrupy, tasteless, tender.

Thanks for your fun videos and interesting English lessons .I like to watch them and after that i send my students to improve their vocabulary.I'm interested in methodology strategies to motivate them,so I want to learn how to make flipped classroom .

Hi, thanks for the video. I noticed that you use US spelling (flavor, savory, etc). Is that a conscious decision to use US spelling instead of NZ/Aus/UK?

I usually use one or the other (or both). Sometimes, when there isn't enough space, I use the shorter version.... flavor instead of flavour. :) Also, I create PDF resources for teachers and the vast majority are from the US so it means less time editing.

Thanks a lot Teacher Rob!!I have a word in Greek that i don't understand how could i say it in English..it has to do with something like Cake,but i'm not quite sure.Could you please help me??The word in Greek is: Πάστα and this word has pictures on Google!!!It's a sweet dessert but it's not a Tart..What do you call it in English??

General English (British English and American English and New Zealand English and...) I wouldn't worry about which "type" of English to learn. They are very similar. The most important thing is to be able to COMMUNICATE. BTW... I am from New Zealand (English is one of our official languages)
