I had low expectations from this place and was blown away by how fun it was! So many cool IG photos you can take there! This might be my favorite botanical garden I have been to.

The snow storm in New Mexico slowed us down by a day so we had to power through on this day! We were pretty tired. Sunsets were so good there!

That was our first time there and it was a blast. We lucked out on the weather that day. Unlike our Grand Canyon day where it was completely foggy.

As I get older I have really enjoyed Botanical Gardens more. But never would I think I would have enjoyed one desert themed. It was amazing and glad my brother convinced me.

I am so sorry to hear about your youngest brother having a heart attack Carl. My Brother in Law has a brain tumour and you would have seen him in our adventure video. He is responding well to the treatment and we are praying he gets through this. This is an amazing Cacti garden. Those Giant Cacti are amazing. Thank you for taking us on your adventure and I am wishing your brother well. 👍🏼🤗🙏🏼🌵

Look very different than most botanical gardens I've been to. I have not heard of anyone eating parts of a cactus. My favorite are the huge cactuses and of course the "RED CACTUS" find!!! You did so much on this trip to Arizona. I can't believe you still have videos from here.

I was skeptical but brother was insistent. So we gave it a try and had an open mind. And we were blown away. Who would have thought that desert plants could be so pretty! Rosalie was so excited to find the Red Cactus. The 13 day road trip gave us lots of content. I probably have 2-3 videos left. But I usually jump around from different series.

Man, glad your bro was ok. That is so true. Rugged Mountain Momma was in a wreck just last week. She is bruised up but ok. The vehicle rolled 4.5 times! Life can change in an instant!!

This place is incredible! So unlike any other gardens I’ve been to. And the views were spectacular! BTW - I remember the signs warning about snakes and scorpions at the roadside rest areas. 😬

We avoided any regular hikes cause we were scared of snakes and scorpions. The desert does not play. So this was a controlled environment we could handle. And it was so pretty for sure.

We went to a succulent garden in California once. It is so cool to walk through garden deserts surrounded by cacti. This one in Phoenix looks amazing. Thanks for giving us a tour!

For a desert garden it's not bad at all! Impressive actually! We have a sucker :) The cactus are scary, maybe because I am needle phobic ! Loved what you said about we do not know what tomorrow brings! I think about that every time I stop being grateful! Nothing lasts forever, life must be lived to the fullest! I love areas with hills very much! Beautiful sunset with the mood and all! It's impressive how much action you manage to get in 6 minutes! I am not capable of staying that concentrated :) They should move those plants here in England, they would have enough water for sure, even too much! Cute red cactus :) Glad that you listen to the local :) Great video as always you guys!!

Editing is my favorite part and 6-8 min is my sweet spot. Videos are as long as they need to be. I always the desert was just full of death. Bit after going here, a better appreciation of plants that can survive the hot summers. I told mu brother I would visit but not during the summer.

Yea its crazy. As we get older this gets much more real. Making some changes this summer because of this. Glad we got to spend time with him and his family.

The sunsets were so pretty in Arizona! We were tired for sure. But since we lost a day due to the snow storm in NM, we had to make up time for our fun!

Wow, glad to see your brother is going well that quickly after a heart attack. Nature doesn't care if you're young or old - trust me! Isn't this place amazing? I too have never been a botanical garden quite like this before either. It's funny, we didn't have it on our list either, but it ended up being one of the coolest places! Couldn't agree with you more about bring underrated.

If it wasn’t recommended I would have not gone here. I always saw the desert as a death oasis and cool to see all the living plants there. And surprisingly so beautiful. Still can’t believe we just missed you when you went.

I'm so far behind on KZfaq videos! Oh my gosh, I hope your brother is doing well. He is so young. Beautiful botanical garden with the mountains in the background. I looked it up - the state tree of Illinois is the white oak.

My brother just texted me asking when we’ll be back. I told him when it is less than 100 degrees. Crazy to think that would happen to someone 10 years younger so it was a reality check for me. If you are back in the area let us know. We were hanging out at your old stomping grounds last week to visit the Milwaukee County Zoo.
