Deseret Brutality 2019 is officially in the books and it was bigger, badder, better and even more fun than 2018. Desert Brutality and Finnish Brutality are our main event versions of 2g-ACM (Two Gun Action Challenge Match). They're very ambitious, very physical and very difficult matches on both the shooters and the gear.
We have a swath of stages, gear discussions, fun, sponsor conversations and more coming your way!

Karl's comment about using the AK - "Looks about right, bang bang bang" - reminds me that the USSR considered the AK47 to be mainly a longer-ranged SMG rather than a smaller rifle. It really is fascinating how the US came at the assault rifle concept from the opposite direction, and both pretty much met in the middle.

Suspect on foot[FIN] That's not a myth, the AK was meant to replace the Sub-machine-guns. It became the standard rifle after they saw that it's in semi-auto as precise as the SKS.

The Browning HP would have been the standard Australian side arm during the Vietnam War and we still use them in some capacity so its definitely accurate for a NVA Pickup

Sadly, what Ian called a Vietnam mag pouch was what I was issued in 1998 still. It worked. Fortunately, I wasn't anywhere fighting at the time. My good ole M-16a2.

Okay, first stage and I love it. That looked like an awesome stage to run. You are climbing over barricades, running and gunning, and jumping into fighting holes for defensive fire....this is awesome. That is a really slick idea with the tape. I have been trying to figure out a way to break up the lines of my rifle but have it so I can easily change the camo. Tape like this just might be the idea I was looking for.

@Karl The Australian army in Vietnam was using the hi-power. They had a different one from yours though. Their's had an adjustable rear sight as well as a few other things I forget exactly.

Do you realize that the M1 Carbine was popular on both sides in Vietnam among the Vietnamese? My first deer rifle was a war trophy M1 Carbine my father brought back from captured Viet Cong weapons. Montagnard tribesmen liked the M1 Carbine because it was similiar, ergonomically, to their crossbows (I have both).
