with that big indentation in the center won't the water lay in there. Also maybe a new pot of much lighter soil with plenty pf pearlite?

yes course for now we will apply cinnamon to help dry and monitor the cuts until air dry very good about one week to ten day, sometimes doesn’t want to dry and have to scrub with white wash towels and apply more cinnamon, when the plant dry in about two weeks you need to apply tire-bound wood glue waterproof to prevent for this happening again you need to apply the glue and each cut but remember to wait for ten days after cutting available at lower or home depot clear plastic bottles with large green print thank you have amazing weekend with your family
