The declining intelligence of humanity is very depressing. It wouldn't be so bad if those in charge weren't so evil. We need a certain level of general competence to resist tryanny, they know this, which is why schools are overrepresented in these videos. They are terrible by design.

@2:54 Why Comic Sans? Perhaps because it's a font that's easier to read for many people with dyslexia.

With reference to the bench @ 0:19, the reason for it is to stop people sleeping on it, in that respect it's a very clever and practical design.

The comment about some older people being confused about the rubbish bin is just offensive and probably wrong anyway. I've seen quite a few posts about office newbies (i.e. young people) mistakenly posting mail in bins.

The comment on the mail-box-looking bins mentioned old people getting confused because they sure know how mailboxes look. If they get confused, chances are today's office noobs will too.
