Thank you, it really helps that all the calculations were done in the video itself!

Sir, in one of my matching network design for mx. gain, when I was determining reflection co-efficient, using S parameters at a certain freq. (3GHz) the values came to 1∠91 & 1∠42.5. This means the reflections are 1. So, will the Max. Gain be 0?

The maximum gain calculation formula is used in this video. Is there a formula that we can use in a U> 0.1 bilateral amplifier for any gain we can determine when K

Hi so after that we use txline and use the calculated lambda as electrical length ?? with all the other information entered in txline and calculate the physical length and width of the substrate , is this what the next stage is ????? , Thanks

The S parameters of a transistor measured at 2 GHz in a 50 system are: S11 = 0.6

Yes.. and as per your question gamma(S) and gamma(L) is asked which will be conjugate of S11 and S22.

@@RFDesignbasics So I don't need to solve B1 C1 B2 C2 for gammaS and gammaL, right?

Sir I have a doubt , for the Ls (stub length) - shouldn't we be taking the negative of jB value on the outer circle and taking λ from Y (s.c.) ?? But here we are directly taking λ corresponding to +jB from Y (o.c.). May I know Why?
@RFDesignbasics

To compensate +ve susceptance length for -ve value is calculated. Also SC and OC gets interchanged for Y and Z chart. Here we use Y chart.
@AmitKumarSahoo
@AmitKumarSahoo 2 жыл бұрын
@@RFDesignbasics Yes correct But sir, here -ve jB is not taken! Ls is directly taken from λ of +jB Also for this admittance chart based approach , there was another video in single stub tuning and the λ was taken from Y s.c. But here it’s not taken like that. It’s taken from Y o.c. !

That is for conjugate matching.
@israellasri2294
@israellasri2294 2 жыл бұрын
@@AmitKumarSahoo I think you are right about the jB. It does not make sense to take it + cause the mutual admittance will be YL=1+2.4j+2.4j=1+4.8j and it is supposed to be 1 according to my understanding
