Great channel! Keep up the work! Super off topic question: what's the brand of the timer? ;-) Really neat for workshops.

Nice demo! This would be interesting to insert in a marketing workshop as a content, punch line or logo design exercise. Any thoughts on that?

Hey Jérôme! Absolutely, the Crazy 8 exercise is super adaptable! It's all about rapid ideation and getting those creative juices flowing, which fits perfectly in a marketing context. For content creation, it could be used to brainstorm different angles for a blog post or unique social media content ideas. When it comes to punch lines or slogans, each round could focus on a different aspect of the brand to highlight. And for logo design, it could be a fun way to explore a range of styles and symbols quickly. Just remember, the aim is to encourage free thinking and speedy ideas - the refinement comes later. Thanks for your comment, and happy brainstorming!

Suggestion: Lower the background music so the audience can hear the main people talking.

It's 60 seconds for one box, 8 minutes for all 8. ( In case you assumed it's 60 seconds for all 8 boxes. :) )

am I the only fool who doesn't get this concept? Can someone put me out of my misery cus I'm not understanding this - THANK YOU 1) Is one piece of paper a potential user flow? so starting at top left all the way to bottom right is the journey a user would make? OR 2) Is each box meant to be a different design for one screen? The bit which confuses me is the ''idea'' part, define exactly what they mean by an 'idea'? Is it a layout idea, a userflow idea or something else?? yours sincerely, a confused training UI/UX designer Thank you! :)

theSecondCummingOfChristus I understood it in the end. Basically if you were designing Facebook and you wanted to understand what the user would need to click on to view message (for example) you could draw out the user flower, each box represents a screen. Additionally you could also draw 8 different screen designs for the messaging page so you can decide which is your favourite. It’s a very open end design process. Hope this helps.

Each square is a unique design idea for the same output. It's not a user journey. It's 8 different possible directions your design process could take for the design challenge you're working on!
