Hi guys! Today, I am sharing with you 5 designer items I don’t buy anymore. I like spending buy hard earned money on items I actually get lots of use out of :) And I just haven’t been getting a lot of use out of these items so I’ve decided to stop myself from buying any more of the kind.

Now than you realise the costume jewellery are not even "worth the money" because like you said, it's not made out from "real material" but there's still so many people out there willing to spend their money on it. I will choose to buy "real costume jewellery" rather than "real from the brand" but not worth the materials are made from.

Yes, yes, yes and did I say yes? On every point. I am done spending $375 on an LV makeup pouch that is going to get mascara and lip liner smudged all over it. I can do that at Rite Aid for $7. Thank you for keeping the KZfaq cray-cray real.

Hi Isabelle. I agree with everything you said. Even high end designer bags are sometimes not as well designed as less expensive bags. However I am hooked on designer bags!🤣

Thank you for being so honest! Totally agree with toiletries and cosmetics bags! And yes the expensive mascaras do nothing for me too! Mini bags won’t be in trend forever.. it’s handy but we really don’t need 10 in the collection

I do not spend my money on costume jewelry either. Buy the best you can afford. It’s better to have one good piece then several fake pieces.

I love a What Not To Buy video. Nobody seems to really like Laboutin’s heels. Had my eye on the small LV cosmetic pouch - the PM one - but you’re right, the size is wrong really. My favourite cosmetics pouch came free with a Dior perfume about 15 years ago - still used often. My favourite wash bag was a gift from my M-I-L about 20 years ago is still the only one I use and it would’ve cost less than $50. The clear Jet Set Travel Bag from Mecca is my best buy for flights and weekends and is just over $53 AUD. Don’t fall for the hype Ladies, same with jewellery! I recently bought a pair of ‘Elise’ earrings from Witchery in both the pearl and grey and everyone thinks they cost me a fortune - under $30 AUD each. Swarovski ‘Attract’ white studs look like diamonds and are set beautifully but are $89 AUD. If you love the CC earrings buy them and be happy... but just the one pair perhaps.

Five very practical points that I completely agree with and I’m so glad that you showed what you use instead. I mean that’s the important point what works for your lifestyle. An item that I would always stay away from is a clutch they’re beautiful but they’re just not part of my lifestyle and if I do go to events I like evening bag that is more versatile that has a chain so that you could hang it on your shoulder or hold it in the crook of your arm with a clutch your only option is underneath your armpit and then you can’t hold a drink or shake a hand

You are so practical!! Love it!!!!! I couldn't agree more. I find the simpler items i enjoy more. I do like Hermes jewelry but i don't buy Chanel price except their brooches. The mini bags are a phase...the mini bags are so ridiculous . The don't hold alot and cost so much.

Have recently returned to L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara and realized why it used to be my favorite. Better than the expensive Lancome, Hypnose Drama, which was clumpier. However, both brands have the same parent company.

Great video! I fell for the toiletry pouch hype as well. I bought all three sizes but I only really use the 26. I use it every day in my neverfull (work tote) but not as a toiletry pouch just more of a catchall so I know my wallet, keys and other things are in the bag.... LOL.

I just bought a LV Toiletry pouche 19, I haven't used it yet. lol. I hope I will soon, because I don't own too many luxury SLG. I love my LV MP, so useful. I don't spend a lot of money on cosmetic, because I think the ingredients from the high end makeup and drug store ones maybe the same. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Have a great day.

I totally get you regarding the toiletry pouches! However, I do own one, that I use daily. The LV Toiletry 15 is great to use as an alternative to the mini Pochette. It fits about the same and in the same handbags, but has a wipeable lining. I don't want to ruin the fabric lining in my mini Pochette with leaking products. :)

I absolutely agree with you on everything, except the Toiletry 26. I purchased an organizer with rivets and attached a strap and I wear as a crossbody. As a makeup bag I would have no use for it. I have a video on it if you haven't already seen some KZfaqrs using inserts in there toiletry 26. Thanks for sharing your video it was very interesting.

1) yup, i too stopped buying branded mascara & eyeliner many yrs ago cuz Mabelline/L’Oréal serves their purpose 2)Loub shoes hurts my feet like hell so no more of that but purchased more tory burch Minnie flats fr now on 3)Costume jewelry is really not worth it unless you are a big fan collector

Pochette 26 is better for other items than cosmetics! I use it as an inner bag, put my phone, agenda, card case & wallet and they get less scratched! Give it a try!

I also learned a long time ago that high heels are not practical to walk in and not good for our feet and back. I still wear a heel, but not above 3 inches.

I too have been going thru the same with cosmetics, no more expensive face creams for me. Instead i buy Differn and mix it with a drug store item. As to jewelry, I don't buy costume. It has to be at least sterling, or 14k, 18k.

I totally agree with designer mini bag. I was addicted to buying mini bags and everytime I use them it annoys me because I can't even put my phone and car keys together!

You are supposed to change your mascara every three months for hygiene reasons so it makes sense to go for a mid price range - Maybelline specialise in it and it’s very affordable. Same applies to costume jewellery.

Why do people still wear those Louboutins they can't walk in? It's almost 2020, let's leave that in the 2010s! Any uncomfortable shoes are NOT worth it, not even for the photo.
