Thanks Anthony. Yeah I love Alt + Q. It seems to be commonly used in sculpting but less outside of it so I wanted to include it.

Thanks so much Emma. Its one of these shortcuts that seems commonly used by some Blender users (generally sculptors) but not in others, so I wanted to throw it out there as I find it great for hard surface modelling.

I really just appreciate the hell out of your videos. I am an old hand at modeling (first learned on 3D studio max back in '98) so going slow for dummies like me is very helpful! Your videos have taken Blender and kicked it's ass until it's something that resembles a program I can actually use. Thank you for every video dude!

Keyboard shortcut for switching between vertex - edge - face select in edit mode is number key 1 - 2 - 3 respectively nvm you already said that

You might say "It's not as beginner-friendly". I disagree. The less vertices you have, the less things can go wrong. (Selection & edit are easier, too) This is one reason why I'm such a big fan of the subdivision workflow

I just disagree as its a suggestion that seems to miss the point of the video - to introduce the basic Blender tools, what they do and how to use them.

@@ArtisansofVaul fair enough, one must learn to crawl before walk. But, do remind beginner students that there's more to blender than that. Otherwise, it's like a calculator that's used a paperweight
