I have played with creating a doll several times but I get an idea about what I want and there is always something that is not available that you have to wait for so I give up and never go back and complete the order. Face Molds: Round-Addy, Teardrop-Josefina, Heart-Jess, Oval-Sonali, Square-Classic 6/1/22: There are now 4 new outfit/accessory choices for 8 choices now available! At the beginning of COVID, after workers had not been able to work in groups, the CYO orders backed up. I ordered my CYO in April 2020 with an expected wait of 10 weeks (early August arrival). Their normal wait time is 3 weeks. My doll arrived a month early in July! It was well worth getting my mini me! She is my favorite AG!

This was very fun to watch! I have designed a few different CYOs, but never purchased them because I've been using my money to get some retired AG dolls instead. Someday, though! There is a rumored new historical from the 1920s maybe coming out this year; if it's true but I don't like the doll, I may end up CYOing a 1920s doll instead.

My recent AG CYO was a bit disappointing. She arrived with very dark freckles, her lip color is very light as is the case with many AG dolls in my collection, and the long blonde textured hair with headband was not as fully textured as pictured. However, she is in the outfit you're purchasing from AG in this video, and I think you'll love it. I'd like to find an AG CYO doll maker who offers a few more options than what is currently available through the company. Don't get me wrong, though...I love all of my dolls, and she is no exception. Thank you for your awesome and informative videos; I've learned a lot from your experiences.

I love this type of video. I have struggled with the CYO since it started and still haven't made up my mind yet! I do with they had all the face molds/types. I would love a Corrine with a different wig and eye color. I like the applied lashes she has on her eyes.

I have two currently, a JLY #19 Original release I found at goodwill, and a Samantha, that was from im estimating '93 I got off of FB marketplace. I wont get more anytime soon because I don't have room but you totally accidentally made me get into AG.

I have played around with create your own because I like the little friend of Joss but haven't seen her available, but I'm not familiar enough with the molds and specs to make sure I get that exact doll.

You appear to have an oval face shape, I’ve also been thinking about creating a custom doll from AG for my birthday next month, I also used your first choices as well, mine would have been shipped the day before my birthday so I may create something else or get a girl of the year doll, I wish they would include the boy options to customize because I would love a mini me in AG so my drag persona is getting the custom
