You are showing many moves on the TG that the Sliding Bench Trainer has never shown. Good Job! I'll let Mike know about you, maybe he'll give you a plug on his channel or even interview you. Been using an XLS for about 6 years now. The TG first came on my radar from Chuck Norris!

Wow thank you! I'm a trainer and it was a life saver in 2020 when I had to move into my garage and had to get creative! I'll forever have a total gym now because I love it so much.

Nice, but you should have spoken or added subtitles to name each exercise and/or describing what parts of the musculature are being worked by each exercise. Some may be self-explanatory, but others not so much. Also, with Total Gym, many exercises engage more than one muscle or muscle group at a time, one of its great benefits! (I'm a long-time user!)

I love the total gym it is fabulous! I have a few follow along videos that show how I break down circuits to hit the full body without spending too much time adjusting the settings. Even if you don't follow along you can just jot down the workouts. I'll make some shorts soon to give you more workouts. Let me know if you have any questions!

As a trainer I'm on my third but I've gotten my use out of each. I'd go on Facebook marketplace and buy a used one. Normally they're only used once or twice and in great shape. That way if you do run it down until the cable breaks it'll be cheaper and easier to just buy a new one. All the models are great. I have the FIT version now that I got for $200 on marketplace and it's much more sturdy with a higher weight limit but other than that they're all about the same. I have a really nice cable machine and I still use the total gym all the time so definitely recommend. Happy workouts! 💪👊

I second getting a used one. I found mine for free with all the attachments still in bubble wrap last week, but saw many for under $100. Cables are replaceable and run around $40 from what I saw on Amazon and wheel bearing things are about $40 for a set. Just make sure the rails themselves and the posts look good without huge dents/ bends.

Hi Kris! I just purchased a Total Gym and now I don't know where to start. I am 68 but very active and don't look my age. I want to continue thru my aging to keep up with kids and grandboys (3). Please give me some suggestions where to start on your You Tube channel! Thanks in advance....

Hi! Good purchase with consistency you'll get great results! Watch the Get Results with the Total Gym video for some good tips. Then I have 2 follow along full body workout videos you can do or I'm starting to make shorter videos with just the routine that you can do at your own pace. I also have a bunch of other follow along videos with minimal equipment if you prefer those. I have more workout routines coming asap. All the total gym workouts are good to begin with, you can always drop the total gym to a lower setting if you get tired and just take it at your own pace but try and finish even if it's body weight or you need a few minute break in between. I csnt remember how I have the videos broken up but I'll make a separate total gym category to make it easier. Keep up the questions, let's get you strong so you can keep up with the grandkids!

How do you safely mount and dismount for the leg curls and knee tucks? I would be scared to do the leg curls

Good question! For both exercises you can straddle the frame above the cushion and hook yourself up on both feet while standing facing the proper direction. Then for the leg Curls I like putting my knees down first and then hand walk your way to lying. For the knee tucks get hooked up then have a seat and then from there lay down which is definitely a core exercise in itself. Let me know if you want a video. Or you can pay a trainer to hook you up like my clients do 🤣

Start on number one until you get the core strength/ balance. It’s easier getting used to the motions lower to the ground too

You can tell it's made in China and they charge way too much for it full price but you can get great results from it.
