What she describes as desiring is actually a natural consequence of inclusion and what she views as "include into what?" (ie into a neurotypical structure/system) is actually integration. "The terms inclusion and integration are often used synonymously, confused or mixed up. Inclusion means creating an environment that allows all people to participate on an equal basis. Integration means affiliation, which entails conformation to the environment."
